there was an independent candidate up for the councillor elections in my constituency - his name is arthur pendragon and firmly believes he is a direct descendent of King Arthur. he has been arrested 7 times for carrying a dangerous weapon - a 5ft sword which he believes was given to him by the lady of the lake.
