there wont be a yahoo fantasy football moylesworld league... because the buggers have slapped a registration fee on it. yes to play it, you have to pay a tenner. There is no way im paying a tenner for a Fantasy Football league so has anyone seen any free alternatives knocking about?

beeing as someone has to actually input the statistics from all the football matches in the season I don't see it beeing a cheap thing to run.

I would have thought it would only take a few staff members to put the stats in and do the research. You'd have thought the money they'd make from advertising would make up for it.

advertising revenue is through the floor at the moment, it probably wouldn't even cover their bandwidth costs.

All the same, I can't see many people wanting to pay £10 just to play a silly football game thingy.

We could always make our own game.

not many people will, but it may be enough for them to survive. normally you see a drop off about 90% or more when switching to a subscription service from paid.

if you want to be stuck entering the stats then go for it

uglybob - did you have a prize off £50,000? obviously you didnt. they did this with the golf, but im surprised its a tenner. this is stupid.
