I wish I had a mega drive but I still have the master system. Sonic on the master system wasn't too good compared to the mega drive though

I got a GameCube a year ago (on its launch) and I have nearly 40 games for it!

Games in my collection include Super Smash Bros. Melee, TimeSplitters 2, Metroid Prime, Resident Evil, Eternal Darkness, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Super Mario Sunshine, Ikaruga, Super Monkey Ball 2, Beach Spikers, Skies of Arcadia Legends and Rogue Leader.

In my opinion, these are all great games and just have that fun factor that you can't argue with. They can be played by people of all ages, and kids will have difficulty playing them, despite any coloured visuals. :)

And how many games sold got less than 50% in the magazines? Quite a few I'd imagine.

I hate owners of one console who can't acknowledge the great games of the other consoles. I have a GameCube as previously stated, and I admit the PS2 has great games like Vice City and Ico and Halo on the Xbox. And, of course, all three have the majority of the EA Sports games. All will get FIFA 2004, Tiger Woods 2004 and NHL 2004 come this autumn :D (I like Tiger Woods 2003 so I wonder what 2004's gonna be like!)

Also, anyone interested in Soul Calibur II? The sequel to the Dreamcast "bestseller" is coming to all the consoles this September, each with an exclusive playable character right from the start. PS2 gets Heihachi from Tekken, GameCube gets Link from the Zelda series (in his adult form) and Xbox gets Spawn, the comic book character created by Todd McFarlane. All three versions will also get Necrid, another Todd McFarlane creation.

All that stuff about Soul Caliber II was rather common knowledge by now all you have to do is read any gaming magazine or gaming website to know that.

Link looks the best I'd say, but I'm biased...the American version has got three characters that the japo didn't...

It's the 20th birthday of the Famicom (8 bit NES) this week.
Now that was a cool games console, before anyone cared about making the box look good or the controllers comfortable.
Pure class

Used to love Excite-Bike. Probably 'cause I never owned it and always had to borrow or rent it and so never got bored ofg it.

Of course the Super Mario games just live on. I had finished SMB 2, 3, 4 On the SNES) and the first GameBoy one before I managed to finish the first one. SBT.

T'was good, but I though 4 was better to be honest. Mario 2 was shite, and wasn't actually a proper Mario game anyway, just some shite platformer that Nintendo changed the main sprites on to make it a Mario game, the bounders.

There was a real Mario 2 released in Japan but Nintendo decided it was too hard (had things like leathal power up mushrooms) and looked very similar to Super Mario one.

I think the other Mario 2 with all the vegatables had a very good purpose, it made Mario 3 seem even better. Still remember how happy I was to be able to fly (using a raccoon's tail?????). someone was stonned when they came up with that idea. That or they were copying wiggle puppy.
