I'm going to try and give up smoking for lent. I doubt I'll get very far, but I'll report my progress in here.

I've decided to come out and admit to you all that I smoke. Sorry if that lowers your opinion of me (Sam), but I've decided I should try and be strong and do something about it.

It's hardly going to lower my opinion of you at all, its up to individuals with all that stuff.

For Lent I am giving up chocolate, fizzy juice, swearing and other things not so relevant. I doubt I can give up chocolate.

Good luck Sidla, although it might seem tough it will be worth it all if it works.

Man good luck, i gave up smoking and it has worked i never smoke at work or any other time really other than when mega drunk in the pub and i am offered a fag then i might have one but that is quite a rare occurance, i dont have the craving either!!

Good luck Sidla, go for it! If you feel stressed come on here and yell at me, I don't mind, I'm used to it and it will make you feel better. And it doesn't lower my opinion of you actually, which means one of two things - 1) I'm doing alright with this trying not to be prejudice lark, or more likely 2) The fact that you are trying to give up cancels it out.

Giggly - I tried giving up chocolate for lent once and lasted till about 8 o'clock Ash Wednesday night! I vowed never to do it again. Besides, its Creme Egg season and I can't miss out on that. Good Luck though, hope you last a bit longer than me! I shall try biscuits, and to cut down on my swearing aswell cos thats been a bit bad of late.

I am very determined, its just to prove a few people wrong, not the actual chocolate. (although that will be hard, I live on a diet of chocolate, diet coke and bread) I am definitely cutting out the swearing, for someone so young and innocent, hmm, then I have a filthy mouth.

I'm giving up * all. I will try to have more time with my gf but thats all the lenty stuff. I tried giving up meat once but the next day we had meatballs and they looked so nice so i gave up, they were the s h i ttest things ive ever had.

maybe I'll give up saying twisting everything people says to make it sound sexual for lent. Gemma knows what I am speaking about. Remember when Claire and Lisa bet me I couldnt stop it for a week? and I couldnt. This will be hard. (Hahahahahahaha hard. that sort of thing.)

ok so its the 1st day of lent i gave up crisps and choc, and for my lunch i has prawn crisps and double choc doughnut,


honest i forgot oit was lent! ill try tomorrow instead!
