lol. You spend far too much time picking these things out! I'm beginning to worry about you. I've never seen 24 to my shame. Worth watching?

Ah you have to watch it then you get sucked in for every episode it starts slow but once it gets going then you stuck on it. Like it or not its a very orginal idea and has done things other programs have never done.
Hey there's even an attractive girl in it that may tempt Bob in.

what i dont like is the fact it claims to be real time but it isnt cos of adverts. when it starts with a fraud like that i lose interest.

ok now im typing slowly to help you catch up. are you prepared for a few shocks?

Shock 1. 24 is an American Tv show
Shock 2. American Tv channels have Adverts.
Shock 3. The BBC does not have adverts
Shock 4. Thats why an hour in that blokes life only lasts bout 50 mins.

yeah i was thinking about that yesterday when jo whiley was going on about it, 1 hour shows never actually last 1 hour so if you watched the dvds all in one go, you'd have 4 hours to spare at the end.

Which is wrong as the 2nd series in the states doesn't have advert in it now.

You said that 24 in America has adverts during it which is wrong as for the 2nd series it doesn't. It is one of the first main stream programmes not to feature adverts so it no longer has any adverts running through it.

so why is it still not an hour long?

I was meant to be an hour but never turned out to be plus you find that alot of TV series of that nature do tend to be aroudn 45 minutes so may just be trying to fit in the normal in that respect.

I don't get why 24 is surposed to be so good. I've never seen it. Should I watch the second series even though I havn't watched the first?

Yes Sidla watch it mate it is exellent, and i'm not normally one to like these American style thingys i.e. X files but 24 is superb. On sunday you will be able to catch the second episode on BBC2.

Point 2: In the US i think they were tinkering with the i dea of making it an hour long(which basically is Gaspode arguement) with no adverts but a lot of Product placement(i think they're doing it with Ford).

Still good enough and the best Selling DVD of a TV series ever so can't be that unpopular.
