Same. In a way, it took off a little bit of the shine of having it open the show yesterday. Maybe they're planning to surprise us in the future with a full length cheesy song and are keeping it until then, but I doubt it. I expect in time it will disappear entirely.

Have to say, though - today's show was great. The invasion of other radio stations was inevitable at some point, and I thought they did a great job with it. Andrew Castle seemed to go along with it well, too.

Visiting other stations was inevitable, but I kinda thought it would be something kept in reserve for a day with no content, not day 2!

Not sure why Dom not writing the news is surprising, he didn't at Radio 1, there was a news editor (often Toby Sealey) who was often mentioned on air. It does seem like the perfect opportunity to add a frothy bevvy story at the end of the bulletin.

Can I just say massive thanks to everyone who's clipping and uploading the shows. It's making my three hour commute each day bearable. All though I get some funny looks on the train when I laugh out loud at Chris. Then again, i get funny looks normally.

Radio 1 don't really promote their Facebook as a means of interacting with the show though, they use twitter, Instagram and tumblr much more. Chris has already been promoting the Facebook page as a way of leaving a review that might be featured on the show, so of course it will get a large number of likes.

Todays' show was (As always) good. The pervy ( ) Smooth F.M. D.J. was the best bit in my opinion. Pipa handled it brilliantly.

Really enjoyed today's show.
Plenty of the silly stuff thrown in, which I was worried he wouldn't do.
Sure, he's changed in 3 years, we all have, but it seems that the humour is still there, and it can be as simple and silly as playing clips.
And as usual, just like the good old days, Dom was up for anything that was thrown at him.

The music is much more my taste than R1 ever was, so I enjoy most of that too.
Now, is it my imagination, or are the ad breaks not as long as I thought they'd be?
I think the balance of ads, music and talk is spot on right now, so let's hope they don't change it.

My only gripe is that the other two, Pippa and Madam, seem very reluctant to get on the air.
Especially Madam.
I'm sure Chris will draw them out of their shell, and they'll be more comfortable joining in before too long.

It was great to hear Chris moaning about getting up so early.

I've just written this in the other thread, but I guess it's more suited to here - the lack of features is making for some entertaining chat that I've been missing for three years - I'm really enjoying the general atmosphere. There will be features I am sure.

Also: put Chris in a studio where they broadcast 10 other radio stations and it takes him less than two days to invade the other studios broadcasting at the same time! Absolute class, I hope they don't stop him doing that.

Capital Xtra is one of the few commercial stations on DAB that's in stereo as well! Here's hoping they'll swap it with X maybe.

Yeah...I don't love Vernon being present for so much of the show. I wonder if it's the influence of Radio 1 where Fearne and now Clara often go into Grimmy's show for the last 15-20mins rather than just doing a 'handover'.

Loved today's Stereophonics interview. I was surprised that Moyles had tried to crash other shows second day in, hopefully they won't mind such antics in future. Although let's face it, it's all free advertising for Radio X and the Chris Moyles show, so the cynic in me says it's to get people to try Radio X or indeed, increase the awareness of the station and get people talking.
