well everyone thought he was gay, probably even his wife. Thats why people couldnt believe he was married with kids. Its highly dubious at the moment, its sort of wait and see before anything else comes out (no pun intended).

ok its a bit unfair to theakston, deayton an ulrika (who did nothing illegal - in fact she helped in stan collymores fall from grace so thats a bonus) to include them with an alleged rapist and an alleged child abuser

oh dear me. why do people think these are funny, when actually they aren't? i don't agree with these jokes, especially when there are quiet possibily young children looking at this message board. chris moyles has fans of all ages, to actually post jokes on alleged child abuser is not right. there not funny, full stop. bridgie - i'd expect better from you.

matthew kelly could be gay, so what. he actually has the chin and smile of a certain popidol winner of the name will young, which is oddly scary.

i'm surprised that this has actually remained on the board, where are these so called moderators?

I don't find it funny either. What happened to innocent until prooven guilty. That's the problem with the British media at the minute, so eager to pounce on anyone who' even slightly famous. But then it's our fault for reading it I suppose.

I support Bridgie on this one. Maybe an error of judgement to put it in General, but other than that they are very funny (even if a lot of them are the same old one's wheeled out again from the glitter revelations.)

Ok, I admit, I didn't prove that Bob was moderator, but I had seen sufficient evidence to make it clear in my mind that he was. On the other hand, I have seen NO evidence to suggest that Matthew Kelly is guilty.

But to be fair, the jokes will come out in much more public places than this. He will be caned on have I got news for you (actually, not sure if that series has stopped, but if it hasnt.)

the point is that it is now public knowledge that he was arrested and he isn't trying to hide it like john leslie. he is even playing the victim, so he is either trying to deal with a false allegation like a decent person might or making us think he is the victim in all this, which could be very clever. we will have to wait and see.

i think jokes are a way of dealing with grievances, they make things seem less serious than they are.

Not really, since the jokes are about Matthew abusing kids. It may be true, it may not, but joking about serious allegations that may not be true is not really very funny.

OK, well I disagree, I think that he knows what is coming to him, whether he did it or not and that he is well aware of the jokes that will be going around. As I said, it as an error of judgement putting it in General, but other than that I don't see anything wrong with what Bridgie did.
