Basically Deadly put on Twitter so and so hasn't tweeted an insult in over 14 hours or something, and I just wrote back "Neither have you surprisingly" I thought that was alright and that he'd find it funny, I suppose I was wrong. Drop it now.

I still to this day don't understand why that was so funny. But I'm happy if people are happy.

Oh yeah, that's definitely me told. Sorry that I commented on a private situation which you brought into the public domain on the forum, of your own volition. Sorry about that, and I shall definitely be leaving the situation there.

When have I insulted you on Twitter? Name one occasion.

What you have done here is try to make a joke that made little or no sense as you wouldn't have the faintest idea about who I was talking about in my tweet and then you made a sarcastic comment to me. I don't take sarcasm from 15 year olds.

Look Deadly, I never said you have insulted me on Twitter before because you haven't, What I said was I saw a tweet from you on my timeline saying you couldn't believe someone hadn't posted an insult in over 14 hours, and I just saw the opportunity to write back with something that I thought you'd find funny, So I wrote "Neither have you surprisingly" meaning you haven't posted an insult in over 14 hours, not to me I meant in general.

See, that would indeed be a situation where this image is appropriate if directed towards Deadly:

Having looked into the situation, this seems as though Deadly was referencing a person who is relevant to himself and a few other followers on Twitter with a niche interest who would find it funny. He was simply facilitating conversation from a certain section of his twitter followers with this action - looking into the user which Deadly was responding to, they're either unlpleasant or banterous - but clearly someone Deadly loves to hate.

You willingly entered a conversation which clearly wasn't aimed at getting a response from you, and then went on to use it as an opportunity to criticise the sender of the message out of the blue - with no context of having fun or 'back and forth ribbing'. Deadly then took exception to this, and blocked you. You then came on here to moan and either facilitate deadly unblocking you, or paint deadly as unreasonable. I say this as noone would have known about the situation unless you had come on here and said anything.

Deadly can block who he wants, and you should probably know him a little better that to randomly troll him. I'm guessing most members of the forum could see that happening in this situation - and if Deadly blocking you has had a significant impact on you, then you shouldn't have sent the tweet in the first place. You know he can be volatile, and need to learn from this situation. Temper your message to your audience.

Big A who I was referencing is a legendary Twitter troll. I was hoping he'd take my bait in order for him to attack me with his generic offensive comments. Sadly he didn't and alas seems to have retired from trolling.

You don't appear to have referenced anyone by their Twitter name, so that could be why.

Ok, maybe sending the tweet was wrong but I seriously did intend the tweet to be good natured, I just want everyone to know that because I really really did. I didn't know who he was talking about nor at the time did I think it was relevant, but Deadly I apologise.

In other news, from my recent ascent period; new job going well, but very busy. Nice to have been on hol and actually get paid for it, for first time in 7 years!

Also, more excitingly ( for me, anyway), bought myself a new track bike... a ZX10R, for those in the know. Not ridden her yet, but looking forward to it. Serious bit of kit... will post pic when not on phone.

Little DTJ has now finished primary school and moves up next year, to a good school too. So pleased and proud. So old! :-(
