Everything is making me smile today. It's just been one of those very rare days where I'm in a really good mood for no reason and everything seems to work out nicely. It's been lovely.

Ok in that case do you want to go out for a day of casual romance and puppies?

Finally all moved in! The flat is still in chaos, but there we go. Annoyingly Mr Red has to go away to run the box office at T In The Park on Wed so he's gonna be gone for most of our first week in there, but we'll get there eventually. It used to make me laugh too. I particularly loved the scenes where the women all sat drinking tea and talking about the men, especially when the great Thora Hird was still with us. That comes from a great tradition of Northern working-class humour, similar to people like Victoria Wood and Les Dawson.

I'm a huge Alan Bennett fan. The History Boys is the best thing I've ever seen on stage, and I've seen a lot.

Nah, if you don't find it funny then you don't! Just different tastes. And I don't get out much generally, I only see a lot of theatre cos it's my job I feel very privileged to have seen the History Boys in its original cast at the National - Frances De La Tour, James Corden, Russell Tovey, Dominic Cooper, and of course the late Richard Griffiths.

A few months ago, I put up a post about how my (now ex) boss was messaging my missis with daft stuff and at the time all her housemates were telling me I was being silly, today it's come out he's messaged all of them to say they're fit, he asked one for a blow job and has generally been a bit of a *. No my name is Alex, but for some reason I got stuck with the nickname "Barry" which over the two years at Uni it's been shortened to Baz! Its confusing for my Yorkshire mates when they come to Uni!
