The number of bookies concerns me, you stand in Woolwich Town centre and you can see one of every major chain all within the space of a couple of hundred yards. I've no problem with gambling but it seems to be that bookies seem to target poorer areas. Go to somewhere like Hampstead and there aren't half as many. Also, having worked in the industry, I know that bookies are run by absolute arses.

There are about 11 bookies on Union St in Aberdeen, which is the town centre. 1 of which is the one I work for, but Hills and Ladbrokes have at least 3 each. There are 2 Ladbrokes that face each other across the road.

Topher - it's doing logistics for an oil company. Pay's not spectacular, but it's still a decent improvement on the pittance I'm on just now, and the hours are much better. Rather pleased.
