I very rarely agree with anyone on here. I don't think Deadly is a * or a dick (although I can definitely empathise with people who would apply those descriptions to him). I just think he can be a bit of an idiot, but he evidently enjoys that role so why worry?

However given that Deadly apparently believes that all parents deserve the respect of their children whatever the reality of them as people (and I am gleaning this from the fact that his comments indicated that he felt Char owes her mum respect even though he has no information or knowledge as to whether she may or may not have forfeited that right by her behaviour), I would genuinely like to know his thoughts on my earlier question on the subject. I'm not looking for an argument, or even a debate, I'm just curious as to what people think.

I have no prior knowledge of Charlottes personal situation so from an outside perspective her language towards her mother could be considered disrespectful. I do however believe that unless there are extreme circumstances then your parents should be respected at all times. I for example can't stand my dad but I still have an element of respect for him and wouldn't talk about him in a derogatory way. Everyone is different though and Charlotte was good enough to engage me in a proper conversation about it which is what I would encourage other to do if they disagree with me.

I'll remind everyone that these were Chris' conditions for Deadly being un-banned:

on [Deadly's] return - if he chooses to come back - the bar is significantly lowered and very permanent regarding any future action. If he wants to integrate socially into the wider group in a way that's acceptable to everyone, then I'm happy for him to do so and put the past in the past.

Do people think Deadly is integrating into the group in a way we all find acceptable? The posts above seem to suggest otherwise.

I personally think he spends more time trying to insult people but then he gets called out for it and starts hiding behind the excuse people are "misinterpreting him" or whatever words he used. He also very rarely posts anything to do with moyles and when something is posted he just posts digs towards Dave. AND he's still on with this 15 year old thing. Does my tits in.

So because I disagree with something someone has said it isn't acceptable? I think you'll find if you can be bothered to read up the page the only person who has been insulted is me. If Charlotte has an issue with me then she can speak to me about that but as far as I can see nobody else could possibly have a problem with it. Integrating with the group doesn't mean I have to kiss everyones backside and agree with everything people say. As far as I'm concerned as long as I go about it in the right way I can debate or argue freely. If Chris says otherwise I have to accept that.

I don't think this thing in this thread is serious, nor do I think that it's unacceptable sentiment to hold (even though I think it's wrong).

Thanks, colour schemes are important.

I don't think this little thing with Char is enough to qualify a significant disruption of board harmony - but prior to Deadly's original ban there were several instances that would have been classified as such. Is it likely that history will repeat itself? Probably. But it hasn't yet.

To be fair, if you're communicating with us - it would be nice if you showed some care rather than not bothering to check. If you don't care about it, then how can you expect us to care about what you write?

I struggle with handwriting and typing at the best of times, iv posted about this before. I make an effort for people I enjoy debating with. I don't make an effort for deadly as he will inevitably find something wrong with what I write or the way it's written.
