The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Interesting thought; almost like a "gardening leave" scenario. However, I would have thought that for that to have happened, they would have to pay Chris some sort of retainer (even though he was a freelancer) otherwise he could claim for loss of earnings/restraint of trade etc.

If that is the case, I can't believe the BBC Trust will allow that to continue for too long; they have been blasted in the past for ridiculous expenditure, so to be paying someone to do nothing would be another stick to which they could be beaten.

Isn't it about time one of them wrote their autobiography?

We flicked through some radio stations for a few weeks after the show ended, Capital FM, Magic, Heart, and all other commercial radio I found to be truly awful.

It's now R2 for the hour or so we get ready for work then my Ipod..

Suppose I don't miss it that much now unless something directly reminds me, can even start a Friday without hearing Stargirl now! Got used to local radio again with adverts and Murs and Mars on repeat play  and only bit of Radio 1 I ever catch is the end of the chart sometimes. Most recent number ones haven't been that commercial radio friendly so I wouldn't have heard them at all otherwise!

Hope Chris is back on radio soon, though obviously won't be the same format with the same team. Not quite sure where he would fit at the moment though, in terms of station and timeslot. Would he really want to do a breakfast show again for example?

Unless chris has a downside guarentee. Chris won't be paid at all for not working since he completed the final show. Same goes for Dave and Dom.

I'm not coping very well, in the past if I woke up early, I'd be up for the cheesy song, these days I can't be arsed and stay in my pit for as long as possible - 8.00am ish.

Jack FM Bristol is slightly amusing - but nowhere near the CMS.

The daily replay is a weekday must for me and helps. I listen to it first thing in the morning just like I would when I would listen to the show on the iPlayer. I realize listening to an old show isn't the same as a new show but after years of listening five days a week, it is good to hear the show. I still enjoy each one. I also started working my way through the archives listening to his first shows on Radio 1 and am up to 2001 and his afternoon shows. Having Jon Culshaw on his Friday shows was great. He made some great prank calls.

I'll admit, I'm not coping the best myself. I still have all the jingles and everything in my phone, and the Cheesy Song is still my alarm clock in the morning. And I still sing along proudly to all the above, and the goodbye song. :3

I have achieved one of my long dreams though. I don't listen to radio anymore since September, but after the show ended I contacted my local hospital radio, and starting over the Christmas period I've been volunteering there. I do the request show 8 till 10pm on a Sunday evening, and I may be visiting a few local fm radio stations in the next few months. Exciting time! :D

Love it :)

I resemble that remark (rocking back and forth on floor, hands rubbing sides of head)

I didn't really listen religiously to the show in the last couple of years, so I'm coping OK without it. I had a routine where I used to listen to the podcast on a Sunday night while playing FIFA on the PlayStation, but I just listen to other podcasts instead now.

Though I do sometimes wonder what the team would be saying about events that happen in the news, and I do wonder what they would be doing for Comic Relief this year if they were still on.

That interview sure worked out different than Scott expected. With all the attention Chris' interview has received, Scott needs to send Chris on more celebrity interviews

There would have been a parody of that, for sure.

Interesting that he was keeping track of when it was. Sometimes important dates just slide by and not noticed until a few days or weeks after. I hope this is a sign that he misses radio and has hope and maybe plans of getting back on the air.

Six months on and I have just finished listening to the shows I missed when they were first on. I have listened to all the shows I missed when I have been on holiday and all the shows from the first half of 2004 up to July 2004 when I first started listening to the shows in full. It has taken nearly 9 years to do but I have now heard almost every single one of The Chris Moyles Breakfast Shows that were ever done. I think the number of shows is 1898. It has been a big part of my life for the last 9 years. I don't know if I will listen to another full show again but will definitely listen to bits of shows again sometimes. Everyone keep listening to the shows until you have heard all of them.

Sat and today are up
