If you were offered 50k to do a voice over wouldn't you do it? I doubt Chris went looking for it, he was probably approached. It's easy money and even the most famous celebrities do them so I don't think Chris should be judged for doing it.

Commercial voiceovers are great gigs! Very quick to do, and you get paid every month as long as it's aired. Naught wrong with that.

Apart from the associations that it might bring with your personal brand, which may effect any future work that you're offered (with regards to voiceovers).
