Even Je'taime is gimmicky due to its sexual nature. At the time of release it would have generated buzz and interest by being controversial. It's an awful song.

The Macarena is another example. Still played at some discos along with the Cha Cha Slide.

Yes, I heard them at a disco only last week - Baby Yudster's Primary School disco (6pm - 7.30pm, please state if your child is allergic to face-paint).

I will always say yes to being allergic to face paint. Too messy and a pain in the arse to wash off. That and it freaks me out a bit.

The HDMI socket on my TV of 6 years has broken, it's going to be sad to see it go as I've had it for so long.

I get strangely attached to technology after I've had it for a while.

The TV is a cheap non-brand one (technosonic) that would barely be worth £100 today.

I'll get a quote for it but I can get a decent new one to replace it for £170 and I doubt a repair like that would come cheap.

Most of the ones I'm seeing are ~£70, and given that the TV isn't particularly good, a new one might be less hassle and more reliable!

Yeah, 'tis amazing how much HD-TV's have dropped in price over the last few years... Enjoy treating yourself Andy, 'tis (nearly) Christmas after all.

In a related note, does anyone who can repair HDMI sockets want a 32" Technosonic TV for £50? :P

It really is. Mine was a £250 below market value at the time (2005/6) at £300, now for £300 you could so much more! This one is for the bedroom though, so no need for owt special.

Thats my view on things too. We have a 37" flat screen in our bedroom, but its a cheap unbranded one I picked up for less than £200, its not like anyone (other than me n missus DTJ) see's it anyway, no need to be a label queen. Save the Sony for the living room.

Doh, had a shave this morning, at about 05:05 (which is never a good idea). Just been for a wee, had a quick look in the mirror, I've only ruddy missed a bit on my throat... Who looks a twat today then?!

Dunno if I should leave it and not care (appearance isn't the world to me) or buy a cheap pack-o-Bic's at lunchtime to sort it out... I'm guessing anyone who's gonna notice it would have spotted it by now!

Silly boy.

Annoyed with myself that I've been here the last couple of weeks... (lots of shit going with family etc)...

But annoyed with a certain new lady i've only just met recently not texting back after making all the intentions? So essentially, women are annoying me today. [regulars to my world can throw some advise/abuse at me in the chatroom!]

How long has it been since you texted her?

Been a while since my last relationship. Well, she text me last night saying that she doesn't want me mention anything to the guys at work (she's a work colleague i met at drinks on friday). Text back saying that's cool (as I personally can't deal with gossip and shit) and asked how she felt about the weekend. Not heard anything back and refuse to text again.

I went through this at the beginning of my relationship. I'm the kind of person who always texts back within an hour, but some people aren't. Quite a difficult adjustment to make (at least it was for me) but my advice would be to give it a day or so, and then cave and send an unrelated text about something ridiculous/funny you've seen.

Thanks Chrys! I just think she's playing the sort of cool/waiting game to make sure I don't go ridiculous over her. She's very independent/private from what I could tell, so probably shaken her world up in more ways than one  .

Yeah, booked a week off to DO something, no doubt. Chill, she'll respond when she can.

Go n crack one off, it'll lessen the tension built up inside you.
