However I hope that he gets a slot on Radio 2.I think it would suit him. However any station would be glad to snap him and his listeners up, its more a question of his choice than anything else.

Chris has stated he has had no offers. The problem in hiring Chris is where is the opening? Who is retiring or being fired? And which radio station can afford him?

As I mentioned earlier, radio is dead.

Commercial at least is dead. He probably has enough money having been on ~£600k+/year for 8 years to do any job he wants without too many financial worries. But, who in commercial would take on someone with a flair to push boundries from a BBC background? To be fair, advertisers would flock to a commercial station that had Moyles as their presenter. Music genre wise, that's not a CM concern. But the breathing space to chat and not have endless adverts shoved into the playlist would be.

Moyles could spend some of his cash wisely on setting up a radio academy if he really believes passionately about keeping some quality within the medium of radio?

Oh man...

Why don't people understand... If you earn 600k a year... You have a bigger mortgage, more expensive cars etc etc... Just ask Mr Harris!

Anyone see Chris' tweets about some woman making him sweat? Clicked on her twitter page and apparently she's a choreographer, hmm.

Remember how I said I thought Chris would be brilliant as Edna Turnblad in Hairspray now he has got the theatre bug? I would so love this to be that.

Seeing his tweets these days make me sad if I'm honest, going on about JCS all the time and all his training, it just doesn't seem right, he's changed so much, but he should be on the radio, that's where he's at his best, yeah I'm happy for him doing other things like acting in a musical but at the end of the day I really hope he's back on the radio asap, cause I miss him :(

Strange - the iPlayer page for the show lists him as being a guest even though he wasn't on in the end.

It's for something he's doing for Children In Need according to her twitter page.

Chris has revealed on Sunday Brunch that Radio 1 want him to do a new show. Positive news! Part of me hopes he tells them to stick it.

2 things here:

1: Chris never revealed that. He mentioned it but Cooper revealed it in a radio 4 interveiw at the time of Chris leaving the breakfast show.
2: You hope he tells them to stick it? Are you mad?
You might be against Radio1 but it would mean he's back on the radio.

Whether he is good at acting or not, he won't be nearly as entertaining as he is on the radio.

I happened to hear that interview too, and cringed when he mentioned acting. I really hope he doesn't become one of those annoying celebrities who think that their talents lie in many areas when the reality is that there's really only one thing they're actually good at and which they should stick to.

He's not. Everyone thinks they can act. They can't. Chris can't -- he couldn't even play himself on Hotel Babylon.

Leave the acting to actors. Leave the singing to singers. Take some time off, then get back on the radio.

I was at a clients today who had Radio 2 on. I wasn't really listening, but then Chris did an interview with Steve Wright and I realised how much I missed Chris being on my radio.

Unfortunately he wouldn't comment on any information about his radio future :(

Don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, I mean if he did have something lined up on the radio for the future or was in negotiations, then he's unlikely to want to say anything at the moment and anyway he's wrapped up in other things right now. For all we know, he could be back on the radio in the new year, but I assume he'd want to keep it a secret until whenever its officially announced, if it happens that is.
