Actually I guess it kind of is. I didn't read it like that though. I interpreted it more like: to compensate for only lasting 3mins, he'd let you spend the rest of the day spending his money. Which is not quite the same, although it's probably all on the same continuum.

A continuum? Ok.

Yes. The continuum of sex work.

If you'd like to insinuate that you regard another forum member as a prostitute, please go ahead. But be aware that it's against the rules and will result in a banning.

Why would I do that? All I've done is point out that you just happily said you thought the idea of prostitution was great. I'm not about to suggest that makes you a prostitute. And even if you are, I'm not sure that it impacts on me?

It doesn't impact on you at all, but that hasn't stopped you making derogatory comments about my personal life in the past!

Let me be absolutely clear: personal insults are not allowed here. That is forum 101. Implying that another member is involved in illegal and commonly frowned-upon (to say the least) activity would not be tolerated.

You think? I prefer to think of it as underlining socio-psychological anomalies, but then (to paraphrase a famous prostitute) I would, wouldn't I!

Well, Chris warned you about your underlining of socio-psychological anomalies, so he obviously didn't want it on his board.

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED WHEN I WENT FOR LUNCH?!

It was a light hearted quip that DTJ would get his end away and then scarper, having left cash as compensation for the one was jizz fest (no offence Tim - I didn't intend for it to be dwelled upon). An image I don't wish to revisit. No serious implication of law breaking involved!

Here's an outright statement of factual law breaking. Ben eats swan.

And the moral of the story is - Chrysostom should not be allowed to go to lunch. Ever.

He said himself in his interview that he's not getting many offers, so he might have to end up settling for something less than ideal. For example Mark Goodier is quitting Smooth Radio at xmas. Surely Chris won't end up h aving to replace him!

Well at least Chris has avoided the fate of ending up on Smooth Radio because Lynn Parsons was announced as Mark Goodiers replacement today http://radiotoday.co.uk/2012/10/parsons ... oth-radio/ Maybe he is holding out for the 10pm slot after all!

he'll be back on the radio in my book. he'll still have his side projects, but he is at heart a radio presenter. hes technically brilliant and hes a radio nerd himself, I cant see him staying away for long.

(IMO anyway)

Just want to throw this in from California.

I don't know how it is in the UK, but here in CALIF most teenagers/twenties hardly ever listen to the 'radio.' They listen to their ipods/iphones/youtube. I think Radio 1 needs to rethink exactly WHO their AUDIENCE IS!

BRING BACK MOYLES!!!!!!

This has been said before, many times in response to the apparent desire of Radio 1 to get more music played - its evident that one of the reasons Moyles was so successful was because his show WASN'T music based because as you say, if "the kids" want to listen to music, it won't be the radio they turn to.

It will be interesting over the next year or so to see how this apparent refusal to see that pans out for Radio 1. I tend to assume they know what they are doing, although I am a trusting soul...

I think we can safely assume an annoucement one way or another in the next fortnight. Weren't Chris and Ben going for Beers the day after JCS finished? It has now...

I think more theatre may be in the works. We now know that he has the talent, and he might want to continue down that path.Theatre can be very appealing due to the close bonds you form with the other cast members.
However I hope that he gets a slot on Radio 2.I think it would suit him. However any station would be glad to snap him and his listeners up, its more a question of his choice than anything else.

Chris has stated he has had no offers. The problem in hiring Chris is where is the opening? Who is retiring or being fired? And which radio station can afford him?

As I mentioned earlier, radio is dead.
