There's nothing we don't already know but Chris does at least admit that it would "feel weird" not doing any radio at all.

Some interesting bits of information in that clip. I'm a bit surprised he hasn't had any offers to do more radio.

Also interesting was this clip where there's a discussion about older listeners and their thoughts on Grimmy's show. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00yyrdb

I also think Chris would have a hard time getting any notice over here. Regarding Sirius, that would probably be his best bet. I think he would have a ready audience in many of the people who were very upset when Sirius dumped Radio 1 last year. I know there are a good number of Brits over here who subscribed to Sirius only because of the Radio 1 re-broadcast.

There will be new boss of BBC Radio (and possibly of R2) if/when Chris comes back...wonder if they will be a Moyles fan (or at least appreciative of his qualities as a broadcaster)?

Incidentally I'm fairly sure I saw Tim Davie pop in during the last show (with a bottle of something).

Not connected to Moyles' future directly, but not worth starting a new thread for so I'll post it here for now and hope it kinda ties in:
I was watching the British Touring Car Championship races on ITV4 this afternoon and there was an interview with Chris Evans on the grid before one of the races. I decided to watch it to see if he still annoys me as much as he used to(I still don't listen to his Breakfast show at all), and yep, he pretty much does.

I've got a sudden desire to see Chris take over the Radio 2 Breakfast Show. That would be brilliant on pretty much every level - as long as he was allowed to shape the show himself and push the boundaries of what was seen as acceptable. (That'll be the tying-in bit. Tenuous I know.)

I've said all along that my dream scenario would be Moyles on the R2 Breakfast show - even though I actually quite like Evans doing it. However the likelihood seems so remote (Evans doesn't seem to want to go anywhere, having transformed himself from drunken maverick to pillar of the establishment so successfully) that I would settle for him anywhere on Radio 2 to be honest.

Any chance Simon Mayo is going to move on anytime soon? Could see Moyles back on R2 Drivetime if he doesnt want the early mornings ever again.

The main thing for me is to get Chris back on the radio, and for him to have as much control as he can get away with over the content. I think he'll be back on Radio 1 for some reason.

I wouldn't want that. I love Mayo almost as much as Moyles.

OMG! This has been my favourite condiment on an end-of-night takeaway for years. High 5!

A self loathing Scot. Marvellous.

My family serve it as a condiment with chilli powder mixed in, and diced gherkins.

My favorite condiment of all time is ketchup + egg yolk.

Big Boss Ben is at a Radio Academy event in Leeds tonight and has revealed Chris' leaving present was the plaque from Radio 1 Yalding House. He's also said it was good for Chris to go out on a high. Guess he's not coming back...

EDIT Perhaps not...

Is @CHRISDJMOYLES going to late nights? "We're having a beer soon to work it out" Ben says. Any gossip? John asks. No, final answer!

I can't see Chris doing the late night slot because if he did we would have 4 of the main weekday presenters , namely Scott Mills, sara Cox (shes doing Fearnes show remember), Zane and Moyles all in their late 30s and therefore seen as part of the 'ageing' generation. It would not be in keeping with the drive to lower the average age of the listeners to have so many older DJs part of the line up.for Moyles to return to weekdays probably Scott Mills would have to go to weekends and I can't see that happening.

Also in his most recent interview Chris said that his diary for n ext year was empty which is a pretty big clue he does not intend to return to radio One.Any talks between Chris and Ben Cooper will probably be to end the contract early

How is that a clue? My diary's currently empty for two weeks on Wednesday. That doesn't mean I won't accept an offer to do something if I get one.

Alas, I will have to turn you down as I'm now attached :) And that's even bearing in mind how much I like Chrysostom's suggestion!

Isn't Chrysostom's suggestion basically prostitution? Or did I read it wrong?
