I think the show has been rather dire since late last year but that might be due to the fact that was when I started listening to 2004 shows and realsiing how different it was back then compared to now. There have been enjoyable moments don't get me wrong (mainly the MP3 player game where they took the piss out of Tina for her playlist comes to mind) but there have been shows where nothing much happens and see myself turning it off after a while if I am listening to it live. Might feel different if I didn't start listening to the older shows but I just find them more enjoyable and well-rounded compared to today especially when CPC and Tedious seem to be done whenever they feel like it now. I hope things do go back to normal after the Easter break.

Shame people start commenting on the show in a generic fashion, when in fact this thread evolved from some acute observations made by other thread-starters.

Starts to look a lot like:

"Its brilliant"

Or

"Its meh"- these comments only scratch the surface. A lot of references to some mp3 player game I vaguely remember but I prefer the radio gems that aren't planned and get clipped. Maybe that's the positive to come out of all this? Who cares if certain features get kicked in the long grass, unpredicability is a good thing.

Twas the fresh duck of bel air, and I'm really hoping he'll spit some rhymes soon. I remember the awards ceremony he did the christmas before last, detailing all the different awards, who won, and how they collected them, it was like it actually happened.

Regarding criticism of the show or the way people criticise the show, I just wish people would let others criticise if the so wish and and in the style they wish, so long as it is withing forum guidelines. If we think the show is relatively poor at the moment and needs changing I don't see why we shouldn't be able to say so.

It isnt incumbent on us to only give praise.
