The show would be great with a better female presenter. There are tons of people who'd do a better job than Stacey.

You did better than me. I managed 2mins and then realised I couldn't handle it. Dating shows just aren't for me, even with Chris presenting.

I watched it all and loved it. Two of the contestants already knew each other! It was brilliant!

You'll watch any old crap though, to be fair :)

I was going to say, you watch and love anything that comes on the screen. You're the biggest telly addict I've ever known I think.

Watched a little bit of it, I don't really like dating shows much so I didn't watch the whole thing.

I just watched it on You Tube and to be honest it's just not worthy of watching all the way through. I saw the first two contestants (?) to get a feel and understanding of the show then flicked through the rest and it's just rubbish. Chris tries to inject some life into it and Stacey is just a redundant cog. That is meant to be in noo way a put down on her but her role in the show just doesnt seem needed. She just simplifies the reason for the contestant (?) not picking the desperate kid in the old fashioned phone.
It's not a brilliant peice of television and Chris & Stacey should say no if offered a chance to come back for a second series.

I'm just watching it now and I quite like it. I'm not the biggest fan of dating shows (I hate Take Me Out and think they are all really staged and are basically just saying how looks are the most important factor), but I think Chris and Stacey are a brilliant tv presenting couple! I think Chris is a lot more comfortable on tv now and is really good with the contestants. Not sure whether it was staged or just a massive coincidence, but the "she won't see me again because I have already blocked her on facebook" line made me laugh out loud :)

I like that there are girl pickers and guy pickers.

Of course, if Take Me Out were to be the other way round, with guys doing the picking, that would be the height of sexist objectivisation.

I will admit this kind of show is not normally my cup of tea,but because it''s Chris presenting I gave it a watch, and I thought it wasn't that bad.Chris and Stacey are both quite funny on it and have a good interaction with the contestants.I can't promise to watch every week like Quiz Night ,but fears of it being a total disaster seem to have been unfounded so far. Who knows maybe Chris will finally get that big tv gig on ITV or BBC1 at long last!

Only one problem-if the shows were all pre recorded in the space of 10 days, how do we know how the dates went?

Chris seems quite keen to form a relationship with Sky, if his tweets are anything to go by. And why not?

I just hope the BBC are cool with it

They should be, his contract is for radio. If he was doing BBC Television then they might have a problem but all that would have been sorted when he signed his contract.

The days of when presenters signed exclusively for one channel are long since gone mostly, Moyles appears on BBC Radio 1, Channel 4 & Sky Living, 15 years ago you ended up with the old "golden handcuffs" deal but these days they don't offer them that often as they're too costly & after a while they run out of things for them to do.

TV companies only offer Golden Handcuff deals to presenters who they think are worth it, like Ant & Dec for example. Chris obviously isn't anywhere near them in terms of value on the telly just yet.

As for Love Machine, I've just watched it and it's not terrible. I like the fact Chris rips into the contestants, I also think Stacey is a good fit for this show because let's be honest it's not exactly question time. Still think it should be on a Friday or Saturday night though.

Exact numbers are beyond my knowledge but I would hazard a guess at us lot, and that's it. Second episode, half of us lot. :)

It seems to be the common consensus that this show is rubbish but Chris has telly potential.
Which , in a weird way, must be seen as a success.

It's awful. I caught it on Sky Anytime and switched off after 10 minutes.

Chris is fine at presenting but he doesn't fit in. It would be better with one of the TOWIE lot. Would match the target audience better too...

Is Sky Living the old Sky 3 or has it just been moved and Sky 3 killed off?
