The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

It was 8 years ago today that Chris Moyles started doing the breakfast show on Radio 1. It is the longest running Radio 1 breakfast show in the station's history. He is supposed to be doing the show for another 2 years to make it a decade. Does anyone remember on the afternoon show at the end of 2003 when they were saying Remember Remember the fifth of January about the new show?

Yes, I remember show Uno. 8 years ago, wow.

Here's to the next 8.... :?

I was listening to the last afternoon show last night

Roll on another 8 years of the show

It is an amazing acheivment. It's no secret that Chris has more than his fair share of detractors who would love to see th e back of him. Some of them work at the top of the BBC. So to survive this long despite their best efforts to get rid of him is incredible. When Chris started in janaury 2004 he joked that he would love to do 10 years on the breakfast show.Of course at that time he never thought it was remotely possible that he would survive that long, but it looks like it is going to happen. It's a record that might never be beaten. It's maybe a bit unreasonable to expect another 8 years of him on the breakfast show, but we should just enjoy the next 2 years anyway

How long do you reckon he can hold his breath?

Turns out it's not Oddballs United the sequel, it's more just a chance to hang about with some sporty types and the team.

Talking of the focus group, good to see Nisa has kept in touch with this forum. Offering her insight into how she feels the show is performing, contributing to the general discussions we have regarding the features and the presenters.

Yes Siree Bob, those 12 posts she made has proved what an obsession with the Chris Moyles show and all things Moyles she has.

Wait...What's that sorry...How, what did I say?

Sorry it's Nisha, not Nisa. My bad.

P.s - Did you know 'Show us your boaby' has posted about the same amount of times as Lidl Nisa. No. Well I'd like to think my boaby is more memorable.

You're too kind big Cyrhus. 12 posts and not one sweary or a post about Ben being a total fudd with baws the size of fairy tears. And a boaby to match. That's a poor return in my opinion.

Not that I contribute anything on here either relating to the show. Mostly choice language and a dislike for people being a bit wanky.

Chupa me polla, Snr Stinton. Tu puta madre.

I do like a bit of both. I change hands each time I masturbate, I'm wankbidextrous.

Nope, other way about. I can't have sex with my wife because she won't let me. Big difference. Or 'not so big' in my case.

I agree that I should probably post on here more often but not just to prove that I still love the show. When I signed up I knew I would only post on here if I had something to say and that's what I've done. Before the Ideas thread I never once posted in the General section, so if I don't have anything exciting to add then I don't think I should post just for the sake of posting!

I don't think the number of posts has to always correlate with how much of a fan you are - 12 posts shouldn't have to mean I'm less of a fan than someone who has 100s of posts. I still listen to the show every day, iPlayer the bits I miss and read this forum :)
