A lot more quality will be cut unfortunately - looks to me like the path is being made clear for shitcunts like Rupert Murdoch to make crap programming and propaganda, despite the phone hacking scandal.

All we can hope is that there will be a time when the economy's in much better shape and the BBC can actually afford to add content rather than cut them back. Although I imagine that's very far off.

I think Chris Moyles is one of the greatest DJ's Britain has had but I wouldn't say he's the greatest, I'd put Kenny Everitt or Danny Baker above him, that's not to take anything away from Moyles though, he still one of the greatest.

WHAT THE *! Seriously?!?! BBC bosses are * morons, I don't think much of that current Director General either, he never fights for the BBC just rolls over and lets everyone have a go at it, yet that arsehole Murdoch is still getting away with his corruption & don't get me started on ITV 1, channel of the year indeed :-x

I thought he was taking the mick when he said that, so didn't really pay much attention.

It's genuine then?

As part of the BBC cutbacks agenda there has to be at least one afternoon show that is networked across all local radio stations ,so either Danny Baker or Robert Elms show will have to be sacrificed sadly.I don't think a descision has been made on which one will go.Its always possible that if Danny Bakers afternoon show has to be sacrificed that he could be moved to another slot .I'd be surprised if they got rid of such a talented presenter altogether.
