Coincidentally, I won't be listening to the show a week tomorrow.

James has a book out 8O

James Corden is a good laugh, but I'd rather have Jeremy Clarkson on the show (another JC). Maybe he'll be in at Christmas again like last year during the plug-fest.

James Corden is someone I want to dislike because somehow in my mind I associate him as a Ricky Gervaise type, and Gervaise is loathsome. I really don't know WHY I have this association though, because every time I see Corden he is brilliant and I really love him. I didn't watch Gavin and Stacey so that hasn't swayed me either way, but I do think its weird that when I think "James Corden" I immediately think "bad" when in my experience he is always great.

Oh man, I do not need the first thing I hear when I wake up to be talk about One Man Two Guvnors! It was like already being at work at 6.45am.

Well I don't know about you, but the above describes neither my thoughts nor my experiences when it comes to you. Mister.

See Jamie Oliver is on tomorrow week. He's another guest I couldn't care less about and it's the only time of year he comes on when he wants to plug a new series or a new book that possibly is assoicated with said series.

I like cookery books and I like cookery series (with proper cooking in them) that happen in the run up to Christmas and I like Jamie Oliver for lots of reasons, not all cooking related. So I'm happy to have Jamie Oliver on.

I'm the same. I really liked Corden's Comic Relief thing with George Michael and all the other celebrities, and he was quite funny on the marathon show, but I was so tired I would have found anything funny that night. But I still think he's a knobend. I suppose he's OK in small doses.

I hope not. You'll need your wits about you if you're going to land that £60k job you mentioned. With which, good luck by the way.

When was Noel Gallagher on the show?

He was pissed & did a heavily edited (obviously) phone interview about 3 years ago , i think.

Ah ok. The way they used that picture made it seem as if he had been in the studio recently.

I'm sure he did come in to the show sometime after he did the phone interview. Can't remember when tho.

The only phone interview I remember was a short one, Chris hung up on him cos he was teasing him for being scared of something.

There was the epic time he was in the studio talking about dogs hanging out of car windows, and a time after that too.

That's the interview I'm thinking of, was brilliantly random.

Yeah I know that but I'm sure there have been guests that have come in just to have a bit of banter while others come in to plug something but you never see Jamie Oliver come in at any other time of the year (apart from a few calls here and there).

He was in July 2009 last time since he was featured on a podcast that had Chris asking Noel questions relating to the last time he was in, which was around a year or so earlier: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00lgz7s

Lee Evans was good this morning, although a lot of the energy from the stage wasn't there, to be expected I suppose, people generally be themselves in the studio.

They could've got more out of him if it wasn't for the teen awards.
