I had to smile today when they announced Dappy would be appearing on the show. The same Dappy who sent death threats to listeners the last time he was in!

The whole thing reeks of pressure by the record company to get Dappy on the show as he has a new single to plug. Looks like Chris will have to grin and bear it!

Chris was almost convincing today when he made his little speech about how Dappy is more 'grown-up' now, almost... I wonder whether Aled wrote that for him, or the record company did.

Not wanting to get too worthy here, but I do think that allowing this scumbag back onto the show after the death threat incident doesn't exactly send out a great message to 'the kids'. You would think that as R1 is a yuff station that frequently bangs on about the subject of bulling, and how there should be zero tolerance of it etc. they just wouldn't have Dappy back on at all, regardless of the reason for it, because it would be hypocritical to do so.

Unless of course they are going to make him come out with a grovelling apology which he has to deliver whilst they throw dog shit at him live on the webcam as part of a new one of Dave's great games, called 'Throw dog shit at Dappy' (one of the rare Dave features where the name would follow the idea rather than the other way around, leading to a less catchy title than usual). Now if that where to happen I would happily have the twonk on the show.

Well I'll be turning over to R4 for the duration of the interview, beyond what he did last time when he was on the show this throughly charming individual has a conviction for assault (which apparently including spitting in a girl's face). Now after the whole not playing Chris Brown thing I find it strange they are happy to have him back.

This seeming hypocrisy is a little disappointing but it's not the end of the world and will look to forward to the rest of the show.

He is back on the show simply because they want to keep the Moyles show relevent to the kids and that you can make amends for your mistakes. It is as simple as that.

I refuse to believe that Moyles has any interest whatsoever in N-Dubz.
