Seems a bit of a coincidence that Chris set up a Facebook and YouTube the same day that the new Radio1 beta site was launched so I have a feeling that each DJ on Radio1 will have a Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to connect with there fans that will be more personal then just the Chris Moyles Show Facebook page for example

No, the Chris Moyles Show accounts are for that. You notice how he wasn't allowed to mention the addresses of his personal Facebook and Youtube accounts.
Chris has set up personal Facebook and Youtube accounts so he can put stuff on that's not directly related to the show. He's probably thinking forward to 2014 when his contract with R1 ends, and also he was clearly taken aback by the revelation that David Guetta has 25 million fans on Facebook. He realises that he needs to get on the biggest social network to connect with his fans, and if/when he leaves the Beeb, the official TCMS page is likely to go the way of the dodo.

If he wants a lot of 'likes' he needs to rename it to 'Chris Moyles' and then get rid of all the fake pages/duplicates.

If you search 'Chris Moyles' that page doesn't even come up and that's when I'm already liking it. It needs to be the page that comes up in the listings when people enter their interests and that would really boost numbers of likes. That's the only reason Guetta has so many likes, people add 'David Guetta' in their musical tastes which equates to a 'like'.

I do like having Chris doing this extra stuff hope it continues.

Yes but that really isn't SEO-friendly. People think 'I like Chris Moyles, lets search for him'. People aren't gonna know it's 'Chrismoylesofficial' without being told it and if he can't even mention the name on the radio, it's really restricting the numbers of people finding it.
