Is there anybody here, like I, who would like to hear the end of the tiresome GOLDEN HOUR?
~
The Chris Moyles show ends for me on Fridays at 9 o'clock.

Not bothered, some weeks there is some good music I haven't heard in years. Other weeks I'll fast forward past the music.

I don't see it being dropped anytime soon. Chris has previously said he likes listening to music to pick the year. So unless he gets to the stage where he might struggle to pick years/music I reckon it'll continue as is.

Surely counting yourself?
DUMP 1, STAY 1, NOT REALLY BOTHERED 1

Ok, true, therefore:

DUMP 1, STAY 1, AMBIVALENT 1.

I like the Golden Hour in theory. In practice, it's the same music on a 10 week loop. It's rare they play a track I haven't heard within the last few months. There are thousands of tracks to choose from, but oh look, it's * Oasis again. Or whatever.

Yeah, this pretty much sums it up I'd say.

Our Golden Hour for 96 was different to this mornings from what I heard.

As I've said, they just don't change it up enough, music is a wonderful thing, a glorious recent history of tunes, if I had my way they'd have the budget to produce some live music that hour, The CMS would be a big deal on Fridays and they'd broadcast that last hour from Made of Ale or somewhere.

*It could also be recorded for telly and shown at the weekend.

The Golden Hour should stay, because even if the same music keeps being repeated (lost the count of how many times they've played DB Boulevard), it's still a nice change from the shite they usually have to play at any other time.

I agree, yes they may repeat the same old songs but it's only once every 10 weeks, better than the same old playlist shite they play every day for four months at a time.

I heard the Golden Hour for the first time in ages this morning and enjoyed it. It was nice to hear something different, and to try to guess the year. I think 100% it should stay.

I think the Golden Hour compliments that "Friday Feeling" very well. Plus no matter the year, it's better then that playlist garbage they have to play.

Chalk another one up for KEEP IT.

I never listen to The Golden Hour as I would rather hear talk but like a few people said, it sounds good in theory but in practice, it is just the same old songs every so often but it is preferable to the awful stuff on the playlist. Please tell me I am not the only one that thinks that Jay-Z & Kayne West Otis song is tedious as hell. Surprisingly, I agreed with Aled about it when he heard it the first time and his taste in music sucks with the exception of Lady Gaga.

Therefore I don't really care if they dump it or not since I never listen to it and switch off after hearing what the first song is.

Where Am I will be gone when they are on their break again since I remember Aled saying that the feature will only go up to October or something then something else beyond that. I like WAI, as it is miles better than 'Celebrity Raspberry that for the last few months of its life, went on the last day since some people were thick and didn't know some people were already on or wrong clues were given out'.

I only heard Viaduct once by listening to the last Afternoon show on here and I would like it to come back since it seems a popular feature on here.

~BTW, the thing about 'Where am I' is Dave '55 words were 5 will do' Vitty goes into his 'god awful' quix master voice/role.
Just speak normal Dave, there's no reason to be an idiot.
