Strangely I agree and get the feeling Chris is annoyed with him

I think that Dave is showing the signs of his heavy work schedule and not having the team there last week must have been tough with everything else he has been through recently. I think we should cut him some slack for coming over more sharp and angry than his normal style of laid back, not bothered but witty, there is a fine line between the two and he'll get it back I am sure.

As for the Chris thing I don't think he is annoyed, in fact I think he is more upset at the situation. There was a rather awkward link the other week when Chris had gone to Jayne's birthday party and didn't seem to want to admit it was good until Dave suggested the coast was clear to do so. I am judging from this that Chris is close to Jayne and Dave seperately, so the whole thing is going to be hard for him as well.

I do not think it is that with Dave. He has an attitude, maybe this is why his marriages do not last and the real Dave is coming out

I didn't like the way he over spoke Sara last week, he seemed to want to be in charge. I turn the show off because of it as I did not enjoy what I was hearing.

I am not 'Dave bashing' before anyone says that. I really like Dave and love his laugh, just a bit shocked at what I was hearing.

Are you sure? I'm struggling to imagine either Chris going on holiday with Jayne, or even Chris texting into R2 for a shout from a beach.... Plus I thought Chris was in America not Cypress, no?!

I see they've been removed now, but it was nice to see that a B/C list celebrity such as Chris' personal holiday photos were just as boring as anyone else's. One of my pet hates is when people come back from their hols and try to insist that you look through hundreds of photos from their trip. I've recently stopped being polite and simply explain, in as nice a way as I can, that I'm not interested in looking at any of them and would really rather not hear endless stories about the holiday either.

Also, I do love Chris but he can't expect people not to be nosey into this. If him and Dave were both massive celebrities then this would be all over the news and then if it was anyone else Chris would then most likely spend the whole opening link discussing it. I do love Chris and Dave though obviously and don't really want to upset them but they really should expect people to talk about it, whether it is right or not.

I don't think it's too surprising. I get the impression from Twitter that Jayne and Kerry (and presumably Chris' brother too) are good friends, and now that she's split from Dave she has to find other people to holiday with. If she just went away with the two of them she'd be a bit of a gooseberry, but Chris going along too would avoid that becoming a problem. Personally I don't think there's anything more to read into it than that.

I also don't understand why some people here are suggesting that Dave would be, or would have a right to be, annoyed with Chris for staying friends with Jayne. Why should someone feel the need to stop being friends with somebody else just because they and the person who was 'their friend first' if you like split up? To me that seems like a very school playground type of mentality, along the lines of 'You're not allowed to be friends with her/him' any more.

No, I think this is a subject where given the incongruity of the situation, a certain level of curiosity therefore speculation is inevitable and understandable. I won't apologise for mine as far as its gone so far anyway.

It's interesting stuff. If some people honestly don't find it even the slightest bit interesting that Chris and Jayne were away on holiday together, while Dave was up working in the mornings and doing at least one gig hundreds of miles away at night, then I'm frankly amazed that you even bother listening to the show. Every day on the show we hear the random minute details of the teams lives. This is something which is actually quite big by comparison to most the stuff discussed!

Saying that, I don't think there's anything dodgy about them all going away together. Jayne's friends with Chris, his bother and sister in law, so there's nothing to be read into that. Still, if you were Dave, having only one week off instead of two because you needed to work (A braver man than I might speculate here that he needs to pay off the divorce...), and your best mate was spending that week in Cyprus with your ex-wife, surely it'd feel a bit odd?

Who knows? We don't. We don't even know why they broke up!

Oh well, I look forward to the CM.net getting slated on air tomorrow.

Maybe its just me but I think when we heard they'd split this topic had a purpose, people were shocked and wanted to express how sorry they were at the news, surely everything written after that point is now irrelevant? Dave has to move on and as far as we're concerned, Jayne has nothing to do with the show so I don't think its appropriate to discuss it on here anymore.

Having said all that, If Chris has allowed some of his holiday snaps to go onto facebook or wherever, he has to expect that people are going to talk! He's been in the business long enough to know how celebrity gossip stuff works! Its part and parcel of being famous these days! So while I personally don't want to talk about it, I think If it is upsetting to anyone in the team, Chris really has to look at how the photo became available on facebook in the first place? If he's been papped or something maybe it would have been a good idea to discuss it on air? Stop any gossip?

If someone's a fan of the show they would understand that this probably isn't a subject that we should discuss as its personal and not not really any of our business and rumours are most of the time, just that. Anyway I heard Aled was with Jayne now so lets leave it at that!
