Oh would that it were so. As long as they don't shove him to R2. I'm a Moyles listener but other than him I don't really listen to R1, we tend to have R2 on in the car.

I would love it to be true too. He wouldn't fit on R2, the only option for Scott would be either 6 music or where he would be better on crappy commercial radio where his style is better suited.

Well that's great news. I thought they were off for 3 weeks for some reason. So as far as I'm concerned it's one week off, then Sara and the team, which is often just as good as the normal show for me. And who doesn't fancy Sara Cox? She's funny, she's sexy to look at, and she's sexy to listen to.

I could have written that post word for word. I also thought the whole team would be off for longer. Especially because Aled goes on and on about his holiday in Greece (I would be too), I somehow can't believe that he will be back after one week.

I was already dreading those weeks because I have to work and it is soo boring without listening to the show. But one week without the whole team and one week with some members of the team is doable

Its Freya that will be producing Dave and Sara. So Aled won't be back til the show is back in 2 weeks. He will probably be away for something like 10 days then back for the Surgery on the Sunday before the show returns.

I've been listening to the show everyday while I've been on my Summer break since the middle of June and I'm going to use these 2 weeks as lie-ins and take a rest before they next have a couple of weeks off.

I May listen on the iplayer to Sara and Dave but that's about it.

Sums it up pretty well for me too, although don't actually mind Coxy doing breakfast after the time she filled in for Moyles end of Aug/Sep last year. Like you am on holiday so will miss her anyway.

Scott Mills afternoon show isn't what it was, whenever i switch on i don't last too long before switching off, though i have listened on Friday recently to the Wonder Years/Floorfillers which is better, Scott sounded like he was on his own in the studio though, interesting.. They definitely miss Chappers for me, although listening to his excellent 5 Live work he was wasted on that show.

There was a time when I actually enjoyed Scott Mills in the morning, around 2005/2006 around the time they were doing Laura's Diary, but that was it. Its never really worked in the morning for me.
