Just seen that Chris Moyles Quiz Night has its own twitter account. Wonder if Chris will be updating it.

Stephen Fry dumbing down for celebs, this is going to be good. And of course, teachers everywhere will want to show these clips to their classes.

I think Chris still needs to work on his body language, he still seems realy self consious. And the funny thing is he has no need to. What's wrong wiv you bro?

I might be in the minority that doesn't mind the self consious body language. On the radio he is confident in himself and what he does but when he is not on tv it makes him seem human instead of this brash individual that he is protrayed to be. The thing is that he is not in control on TV so he maybe subconsciously he is allowing this to leak through with his body language.

What are the signs you see that display this Self-consciousness?

When your use to hearing him on the radio he seems like ten men, but put a camera and an interviewee in
front of him he just seems to melt. Always seems to have the camera in the corner of his eye. Hey this is just my
view on things. Im not saying im wright or wrong. Chris is a dude and half, he can handle anybody, just not when a
camera and a guest is in the same room. Almost like his frightned to be himself. Like i said when he does the film
segments he's all over it. Top doller. Again this is just how i see it.

I see where you are coming from on that one. When he is on the radio like i said he is confident as he is in control of things, like has said in interviews he has control of the mics, the desk, the content in most part. When he is on TV he has to rely on the director/producers screaming in his ear on talkback (IFB) what camera to look at, to wrap things up and move on. Some people can cope with it but this comes with time when you are doing a TV presenting role on a regular basis. Chris doesn't do TV that often when he is anchor of the show the last time he did was on Quiz night in October of last year but didnt air till November. He is good when things are off the cuff kind of things like Big Brother Celeb Hijack or Big Brothers Big Mouth. So the more TV anchor presenting roles he does he will get better and better at it. This is how i see it.

I think he tends to keep flicking his gaze around, he doesn't hold eye contact with anyone, its all flick to the camera, flick to the guest/interviewer/whoever - it makes him look nervous. I think that's what's improved though, maybe he does still do it a bit, but its nowhere near as bad as it was.

And I agree about the movie bits - they are excellent, and Chris is an ACTOR!

He's just giving it all that wacky crazy old skool DJ routine he's done for years on the sofa of 'This Morning', thats all, once he hangs up his yoof hat and the Radio 1 days are behind him I'd like to think he'll no longer be obliged to be the life and soul, just think of how relaxed he was for 'Who do you think you are?' A very grown-up show. That's my take on it.

Oh yeah I tried it last week and it seemed to work but I wasn't sure if the first question about who is going to win counts and there were too many answers for a lot of the questions

Yeah, there were a few hiccups like having too many boxes and the 'list as many as you can' question didn't work... but I'll improve it for Friday :)

I watched one of the episodes this afternoon on 4OD. It was fun. Chris is getting better at his TV appearances.

I think Chris would have loved to have done the Broomcupboard back in the day when it was the Broomcupboard, the announcer's booth, complete with self-op vision and sound mixers. Chris' Christmas message video is very Andi Peters and Edd the Duck.
