The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Ok I love the CMS and listen every day on the iplayer at work (helps me through the day)
But here are some of the things I think the show needs to scap-

Celeb Rasberry - fast forward straight though this feature, has no interest to me what so ever
Rob DJ - I enjoy the quiz and the banter but CANNOT STAND THE "when I say blablabla" it goes on for like 2mins, what is the point? please change the format
Opening the show with "my voice is croaky today, everybody else moaning about there voice's, so what!
"who's phone is that"? - who cares, just get on with it!

Ok rant over , please comment weather you agree/disagree just my opinions x

Same here. I like the pub quiz, and I normally shower during Celeb Raspberry anyway so it doesn't really bother me.

Raspberry was good for a few days, now it's pointless and boring.

And, which may touch a few nerves here, Dave Vitty is boring me. Copies EVERYTHING Chris does and says, and it's bugging me. I noticed it a few times this morning, when Dave says something funny, or repeats CM, Chris ignores it and carries on.

I could name you a couple of classic bits of classic radio for raspberry, but I can't for Where Am I.

The F1 thing, I don't get that, it just seems such a small margin of the audience are gonna bother with that, may aswell talk to a knitting expert, or aromatherapy. Also, Chris reckoned this mornings Golden Hour was hard, was it heck, it was well easy. I interpreted it as a nod to Parfitt, big things happened in 2004 and will be remembered well not just for the music.

Other concerns include - Scones and Shoes, making opening links very laborious to listen to of late.

That's it, I'm done.

F1 is BBC cross-selling though. They wouldn't do it if it was still on ITV. anyway...I like F1 and knitting

What do you mean you have seen the "real" Dave on twitter? I am confused :-?

I like the idea of a competition at 07:15 and some of the callers are entertaining, but the raspberry is pointless. There is absolutely no chance of guessing who it is based on the noise.

I like the pub quiz but I agree that the "you say blah blah" thing is tiresome as is the "question number 1, question number 1, question number 1 etc.....". I would cut all of that filler out and get down to the quiz. They make that entertaining enough as it is.

I don't mind them talking about croaky voices, but I do have an issue with the level of moaning Chris and Dave often do in the opening link. I like it that the team and listeners pretty much wake up together in that link, and I would hate it if the team were fake, but when they keep going on about how tired they are and that they wish it were Friday it disappoints me.

I love the show and hate it when the very thing that I absolutely love listening to is made out to be a chore by the team (mainly Chris and Dave). I want them to be themselves when on the radio, but sometimes they really do seem as if they would rather be anywhere but on the air during that first half hour. I am sure we can all tell when they are tired or just not in the mood for the show, but do they really need to bring the listener down by going on about it?

Regarding the F1 as I am a fan I quite like it, but I undertand the objections to it. I always think that a large proportion of the listeners will be bored to tears by it. Even though I like it I would still drop it as Friday is already only a two-and-a-half-hour show as we have the golden hour.

And apart from the moaning about tiredness thing, I dont think Dave does anything to annoy me. Dave is vital to the show.

I agree Travis, that is a well founded observation. Critiscism needn't be a bad thing, like some reckon it is, including the big man himself. If a newbie comes to make observations (as ill-informed as they may be) then, to a certain degree that is how the outside world views the show, unlike us 'right-on' regulars.

Oh bog off. I hate that sort of post. If we just bang on about how great everything is the forum would die.

You have to take the rough with the smooth...if you are allowed to moan about something like that, then I can tell you stop moaning or even better....* OFF!

Man I am glad I am not the only one who finds the opening part of Rob DJ's Monday Night Pub Quiz annoying. When I first started listening to it 2 years ago, it was pretty short but now the whole "When I say..." bit goes on for a minute or two and just think "Get on with it!"

Celebrity Raspberry I've never really enjoyed and its only because of certain callers that the feature was alright but the past few weeks it has gone on the last day and just some people don't realise that people have already been on when they call in. Will probably be gone once they hit their holidays anyway.

F1 bit bored me to tears before but I don't mind it much now having got into F1 pretty recently watching the Canadian Grand Prix but I am sure for the majority of listeners it will be nothing but boredom for them.

I can see why some people on here would be bothered with the opening links at times with the way they talk and that and it does feel like they couldn't be bothered and that whole my voice is croaky stuff is getting old since lord knows how many times the team have talked about it over the past several years.

Still love the show.

I've never liked Car Park Catchphrase and I can't stand Roy Walker. So its a good job that by the time that comes on I am well into a working day with no radio allowed.

The only feature I don't like at the moment is the F1 segment on Fridays.... I'm sure there are some F1 fans listening that like it but it bores me to tears as I am sure it does many others, 5Live is there to cater for that sort of stuff.

Why can't Chris have developed a genuine interest in F1 as a result of coming into contact with it through the activities of the show? Are we not allowed to take up new interests past a certain age or something?
