Yesterday and today the iplayer has been a joke. Like others, I get anywhere between five seconds and 30 minutes then it just stops.

Very frustrating.

Thanks a million for all the uploads by the way Neil. The stop/start problem isn't on all the radio i-player programmes, I've listened to some shows from Radio 4, 5 Live, and Radio 2 this week (including today) which were working fine. It could just be an issue with R1 shows.

So today's show is doing the same thing? I've been at work all day so I won't see what radio downloader has managed to capture (if anything!) til I get home this evening. I might have a crack at get_iplayer this weekend, but I just have so much else on at the moment (which is why I'm behind on the tedious in the first place and need the shows - oh the irony).

Well, even though other people have posted here that they've been having trouble with today's show, I'm an hour and 45 minutes into it and (touch wood) the i-player is still behaving itself for me. I also d/l the show using Radio Downloader earlier for back-up in case i-player was playing up again and it d/l no problem.

Judging by the infrequency of Comedy John's posts we may be waiting a while for that answer, but I'm a couple of hours into todays show using his link and it is great. Far better than the iplayer in that it doesnt stop every every two minutes and you can accurately fast forward and rewind.

no idea where they came from, but they've worked for at least a couple of years.

best thing to do, is right click desktop > create new shortcut > paste the url above > name it the day of the week

do this five times and you instantly have links to the latest 5 moyles shows
