A great interview with Alan. Chris looked amazing, the gym is really paying off. Shame they edited out the Steve Wright comments.

I do love listening to Chris on his show but now I know he is scared of dogs too, which is some thing most dog lovers just dont get. I have many friends with dogs and completely understand their love to their pets but for people like me that could easily go hysterical if a dog no matter how small comes with a hundred yards ! Honest, so thank you Chris !

Yeah, he looked good. Eddie Izzard looks hot too. I like a man in eyeliner.

Daily Mail is saying Chris has just signed a £1million/year, 3 year contract? I guess Greg James hasn't been groomed enough for the breakfast show yet.

It's about a week since the news broke that Chris has signed til 2014 - there's a thread on it further down.

He has got MUCH better at telly. Just a couple of years ago, even a sofa interview on someone else's show would have been difficult to watch, Chris always used to look so self conscious and tense. Just goes to show, practice really does pay off because he was great on Alan Carr's show. Horrible trainers though. I expect they are the height of cool or something, but they were horrible.

Here's the thing about phobias -- there is generally a really good reason why they exist.

I was also bitten by a dog as a small child. It bit me around the eye and I nearly lost the eye (no scars though). Which is why I'm a cat person and not a dog person. I don't mind petting a dog, but if it starts jumping up at me, like Chris, I'd run a mile.

I also hate heights, after falling from a rope slide when I was a kiddy winky.

Neither are crippling fears -- I've been in a helicopter and can hang around with dogs as long as they are not leaping at my throat, but I won't standing at the edge of a roof of a tall building.

I used to to be a bit scared of spiders, but having lived in the country for a few years, where creepy crawlies roam around in packs, I soon got used to them, and don't really care about them now.

He was great last night, so much more relaxed than he used to be, as Yuds says.

My only tiny gripe is that he seems to be swearing on shows like this alot for no apparent reason. Swearing is funny at the right time, but on Celeb Juice and last night, he seems to do it just because he can.

I find him swearing funny because I'm not really used to it from listening to the radio. I'm usually not fussed on it but there's a lot worst out there.

It probably is because I never hear him swear normally that I find it a bit weird. :D

Just seen Chatty Man and Moyles was excellent on it. I agree with Yudster that Moyles is far better on TV than he used to be.

As someone else said, Chris does tend to swear simply because he can when on some of these TV shows, but on Chatty Man he only did it once, and whilst it seemed deliberate and forced, it didnt spoil anything.

He does still seem a bit shy and slightly nervous when you look at some of the awkward face touching and he is a bit slower-witted on TV than when on the radio but he was still very good on Chatty Man.

He is becoming more relaxed like everyone has been saying when he does interviews now. In regards to the swearing, i think it is more natural to him to swear. On the radio he is more like he has said in many interviews its like meeting the gf parents you don't swear in front of them. So he is trying to put across the best of him on the radio. Plus his parents said on Saturday or Friday night project that Chris's worst habit was when he was a child he would storm out of the room and then flick the vs at them.

I rarely watch Quiz Night, not because I don't like it, but I just keep forgetting it's on. I think Chris would thrive as the host of a chat show. He could be as good as Wogan was in the 1980s.*

*for the younger ones, Terry Wogan used to do a prime time chat show in the 1980s-early 1990s that was on two or three nights a week on BBC1.

Ah, but the reason Wogan folded in the end and the reason it wouldn't work again was that it went out live at 6pm - the guests don't like that, and Wogan's list was getting smaller and smaller.

I thought it was axed to make way for Eldorado. And I'm sure it went out at 7pm, not 6. The Six O'clock News would have been on at 6.

Actually I think it was 6.40 or something. And it was replaced with Eldorado, but if Wogan hadn't been struggling (the programme, not the man Foots) they would never have got rid of it.

Regional news would have been on 6:30 to 7:00.

Anyway, the point I was making was that Moyles would be good as a chat show host, but in a late night slot like Alan Carr and Graham Norton have.

Chris looks so 'fit' now. Well done Mister.

Agree with the comment's that he is so much better on TV now. I use to feel embarrassed for him when he used to do interviews.

It's normally repeated in the week.
