Twitter has been getting a bigger part of the Chris Moyles Show, for better or worst so was wondering if you see a point coming where it overtakes SMS? Or do you think it'll be a long time before a transition like that is made? Are they even considered alternatives or two very different ways of communicating?
We're ahead of the game on social networking on the show - so we're trying some stuff out to see what works. Twitter may/may not be it - Facebook is an arse to work with - maybe there'll be another format that will end up being the main way to communicate with us.
I must admit though, the idea of spending 10 - 12p to communicate with us is already feeling like old technology so I can't imagine people holding onto SMS for long if there's better ways of doing it.
