OK, hands up I was 50 a month or so ago, but still listen every morning. I am still 17 in my head, so should i do as Chris Moyles does and knock 26 years of my age??

This show is the only one that has ever managed to get me up before 0700hrs, and where I look forward to switching on the radio.

Any more 50 plussers who are regulars???

Yuds is not a troll - in fact you may well have heard her mentioned on the show during the focus group meeting discussion. She might wind you up, tho.

Cheers Nicola-Red, just hope I'm not 10 guinnesses down when I have the pleasure ;-)

I'm only here for a bit of banter, show chit chat et al, so hopefully won't get any major gyp.

Don't use text speak or be overly defensive, and you'll be fine!

The reason Yuds was mentioned is that she is one of our older members, although I have to confess I'm not sure how old - late 40s I think. But at 36, I'm well out of radio 1 target audience myself.

36 maybe out of radio 1's target audience but radio 2 is out of there audience too.
People like to be entertained with comedy what ever there age. Swearing dosen't
make it more adult. Chris appeals to all ages i think because he knows what works.

Chris it's the end of the month wrere's my pay check!!!!!
Just joking, i work with all ages and Chris is the show we all tune in to.

I'm way outside their target audience  but I do enjoy it on a weekday pre work morning.

Weekends I revert to R4 8O , and as for the Archers Omnibus on Sunday

Welcome to the Forum Sally. If anything positive can be said about us, we"re certainly not ageist. I'm 32 so i'm in the higher backet too, and proud of it!

Ha! number one when I was born was Floyd Cramer On The Rebound - never heard of it.

Would be nice if they did mid to late 70's golden hour though.

No. At least, not since I WAS 43. I absolutely hate this thread with a passion you can only ever imagine.
