It is with great regret that I have to announce the semi-closure of The Cassette Archive. Due to personal circumstances I will not be able to upload or post anything for the forseeable future, certainly not for the rest of 2011.
I do hope to one day start things back up again, but will not be able to capture and keep any shows broadcast between now and then. Of course, all the links on here will stay up unless Megaupload decides otherwise. Sadly, I won’t be able to re-upload anything if it does vanish.

Thank you for all your support and appreciation over the last 4 years, I hope these old radio shows have given you as much enjoyment listening to them now as I had the first time they were broadcast.

Oh * off Archive.org. Just spent 2 hours uploading the next shows and got a * "no files seem to have been uploaded" error. I had the same problem last night. Any reason why?

No idea, although I imagine their servers are down because it's a Sunday & no one uses the net that much apparently (I was told that once when my broadband went down a few months back )

Aircheck Downloads have just uploaded an edited extract of Chris' Severn Sound show from 13th September 1995. I've heard him play that Bohemian Rhapsody by Cats thing somewhere else.

All shows from 2001, 2005, 2006, 2009 & 2011 have been added to their appropriate areas.

Any shows missing or any that I've credited to uncorrectly please let me know & I'll edit accordingly.

I must make sure I edit this more often now, I might sod around with it somewhat & seperate certain years into their own posts as 2010/11 is far too long now when it comes to editing

Wow! Nice find, I may add that to the thread if the site is OK with us doing so.

I hope to, one day this week, edit the two Mark & Lard Graveyard Shift Shows that I got from Youtube, the person who uploaded them kindly said I could so I will try my best to do them this week.

I should explain why of recent I have neglected this, bascially I've been caught up in uploading most of my CD collection to my laptop, unfortunately it is taking a hell of a lot longer to do that I expected & due to a dodgy CD drive is causing me agro, however I'm near the end of this now so hopefully I should be back on course with this all very soon

I think it was going through the task of getting the link off of each individual post, also the length of certain years puts me off somewhat as well, I must separate each Moyles year from 2005-2011 into their own posts, it's just getting too difficult to edit them now due to their lengths, I shall do that tomorrow night

My go-to point is the mark & Lard & Moyles thread. The aray of shows is vast and getting ever vaster but at the moment it only has one show from Portugal which is 14th June. They speak to Gary Liniker.
