Looks like Sam's replacement is called Freya, who has produced Sara Cox.

Yesterdays handover was Sara saying she's out with "Lovely Freya tonight" and Chris then says "She's our new girl, yeah sorry about that" then Sara says "You've pinched her".

Wonder when we'll be hearing her on the air, if at all...

I really hope she becomes an involved member of the team. As I've said before, I can't stand 'mute' producers/team members. Without team interaction, a radio show can just sound like being shouted at for a few hours by the DJ. (Read: Fearne 'MORNING' Cotton)

I agree, anyone remember Producer Richard on Weekends & on Afternoons for a while (Between Ben's departure & Rhys' arrival) he didn't speak he only "waved" on air because he didn't like the sound of his own voice

Its astonishing really isn't it? I mean, who would think that having a pleasant voice would be on anyones criteria list when choosing people to work on radio. I can't think why that would happen, talk about your coincidences.

Certainly is a coincidence isn't it? Just pointing out the obvious but not everyone has good voices on the radio. Fearne's voice I am not fussed on but I am not fussed on Fearne overall and what is she doing at the moment to be off another week or whatnot since she was only off there recently.
