There was a line the other day, where Chris was ribbing Dave about being tight with his money and Dave said something along the lines of "I give my money to other people. A lot".

Yes!

A friend of mine who has a close connection to the team seriously suggested I should email Dave and ask him out. How I chortled. As if he'd be interested in a civillian these days! And especially a heavily tattooed one. I don't think it's gonna happen :)

Oh i don't know. You like to 'travel on the other bus', & thats a turn on for men. .....well at least for me. A newly freed fella like Dave could well be intrigued by that.

If I could bring us back on topic, Dave has Tweeted this:

"Just finished moving house on the anniversary of losing my dad 9 yrs ago. Tough day all round but at least I'm done now. Off to bed. Night x"

Poor thing. :(

NINE years ago? And he feels the need to tell everyone?

The bloke loves to wallow in self-pity doesn't he.

Harsh words. Harsh indeed.

I imagine that Dave's sad time at his marriage breaking up put him in mind of other sad times, ie, his dad dying. I don't know what his dad died of, but as Dave is the same age as me his dad must have been of the same generation, so that would have put him at around 45-55 when he died - very young. Something like that would stay with you forever.

I've only ever known Dave to even refer to that on Twitter a couple of times. I've never heard him refer to it on the air, and I reckon I've heard at least 80% of the entirity of the shows since then. So this dickhead, who seemingly has a grudge against Dave, can do one.

It seems every post DaveBedford does on here is a knock against Dave whatever the subject may be.

I just posted about Carrie.

And everyone on this forum must agree that Vitty is wonderful (or attract personal abuse) because...........?

There's a huge space between not liking Dave as a radio personality and abusing him in the way you have done - your last post on the subject being a pretty good example of pettiness and spite. I'm personally not bothered that you don't like him, but disliking someone on the radio isn't the same as (for instance) thinking that the bloke in your office who you talk to every day is a complete arse. In the case of the bloke in your office, you might very well be in an excellent position to make the kind of comments you made about Dave, because you might possibly know enough about him to be able to make that judgement. That can't be the case with you and Dave though can it?

Ok you posted about something else but a majority of your posts have been about knocking Dave whether it was Dancing on Ice or when he was off for the week and Olly Murs replaced him. You don't like Dave and we get that. Like I moaned about the recent CPC situation and McFly day but that doesn't mean I go on about them every so often.

I like all the team members but there are days when some of them can be annoying and not everyone is perfect but you don't have to be vicious about it.

Also, Yudster's statement is spot on.

I enjoy his writing and I find him likeable and funny on the radio. As far as I'm concerned that's reason enough to like him. You are under no obligation to think he's wonderful and you're entitled to express your opinion, but what you said was indeed nasty, so you've gotta expect some flak for that.

With respect, you're wrong.

Because the only reason you're doing it is to annoy people and try to wind them up.

Seriously... You think you can get away with saying that on a Chris Moyles fan site and get away with it. That's just plain harsh and there was no need for it. I hope Dave doesn't read that post. Or even Chris or Aled
