I must say I didn't particularly have an opinion on Greg before. Didn't dislike him , but never listened to his show so couldn't comment. But I've been watching his show on the Red button this week and I think I'm impressed. More with him rather than the show, as its rather lacking in content I think . I think he should have more on air contributors to bounce off of but thats just my opinion.

Anyone elses Gregopinions changed due to red button?

I always used to enjoy listening to Greg on Early Breakfast on my way to work (before Dev killed pre-0630 radio). You can tell he has been a little influenced by CM over the years abd one of his main strengths is not taking himself too seriously.

Silly hair though!

I thought that Greg was a good find, but worried that he would be too influenced by Scott Mills, who he certainly seemed to be trying to emulate in his earliest days at R1. He does seem to have decided he can do better though, and is developing a much less cheesy and formulaic style of broadcasting. I think he is good. And he IS cute, he is a lot better lookng than Ellie Goulding. She looks weird. And is a terrible singer. Still, she has a hot boyfriend so life can't be all bad.

The odd picture looks unflattering, but generally she's pretty (although she does need to find a good conditioner, her hair looks very dry and prone to split ends).

For what it's worth I think Ellie Goulding is quite fit. She isnt conventionally good looking facially, but she is OK. And she has a lovely fit body.

Back to what the thread is about, and I think Greg is improving all the time. I have barely seen five minutes of the red button coverage, but I thought from about 12 months ago that he was getting better.

I always thought he was quite promising, but very bland. Now he is starting to let his natural personality come through. I like him a lot and think he is a given to replace Chris on breakfast. I hope it isnt for a long time yet, and I dont think Greg is anything near ready anyway, but I am sure he is the one to replace Moyles.

EDIT: And I think that is nice picture of Ellie as well!
