Just on behind the scenes moves. When Chris asked about getting Party Ben an INDJWT slot. I'm fairly sure Aled said ask Rhys....or Rachel now which to me implied she's just taken/taking it over. Now I may be making 2+2 = 5 but could this be related to Sam going.

Just listened back (approx 50:40 in) to it Aled said in response to Chris asking how you get an In New DJs We Trust show,

"I think it's Rhys he's your man you should talk to Rhys and he talks to Ben...or maybe Rachel now"

So to me I thought he was still talking about INDJWT when adding 'or maybe Rachel now' which is not a weekend show.'

Just wondered if that meant Rhys was about to do something else. I remember when Piers got a new role it seemed Rhys went for it as well and going back as exec-producer was a 'consolation prize' so perhaps he's got something else you never know Sam might be moving up to the world of being an exec producer!

Anyway as I said I might be reading way too much into it all...sure Dave will let us know the whole story

I didn't even know how that worked, but it means someone, who's not a forum member, had submitted something via the 'Have Your Say' section of the board. The guidelines in that section state that you can use the link to submit news, gossip or tip-offs, and it will be considered by one of us and possibly edited for inclusion on the site. So obviously I was intrigued by what it was gonna be...

Shame Sam's leaving I rather liked her as well, ah well that's how it used to be in the old days a team member last for 1 or 2 years & then would move on, the longest running pre-breakfast were Rachel (the whole Saturday Show run I think) and Will (nearly 3 years, which for an Afternoon Producer was a long time).

Oh well, hope the next person they get is vocal on the show as well, I am hoping for another female voice in all honesty

Did they make a big thing of Sam leaving on air? She's posted on Twitter that she's gone to 6 Music as an exec producer, but I'm not sure what's been announced on the show beyond Dave's * up and a few mentions in passing.
