If the newbie is too slow to notice that there is s dedicated "intro" thread until after they've introduced themselves elsewhere then the newbie probably deserves all the newbie gets. But it needn't be a death sentence, most of us got crushed when we joined. You sink or swim. Welcome Nichola - I like the way you spell your name even if my spell-check doesn't.

Hi everyone.

I'm Kyle, 29, from the US. I catch Chris and the team on XM Satelite Radio. On the East Coast, BBCR1 is time-delayed 4 or 5 hours (depending on daylight savings time) to make the show times match what they are here in the US.

Been listening to Chris and the team for almost two years now. Can't imagine my morning drive to work without him.

I would like to thank all you guys/girls for paying your license fee to keep Chris and the team on the air...

Here's to many more years of Chris and the team!

Good afternoon, all, I'm new to this.

I've been a fan of Chris Moyles since he started on afternoons in 1998. I have fond memories of returning home from school and catching the last hour of the show while playing on my PlayStation 1. I've listened ever since, and can't understand why people think he is a talentless waste of licence fee payers' money.

I've not listened to the breakfast show very much recently, but I did sit in front of the TV for 13 hours watching part of the marathon show, so I might start listening again. It's just the modern music that puts me off listening to the show nowadays.

Well, haters gonna hate. I'm sure every presenter, both on radio and on TV, have haters. You just have to ignore them

ha ha lol! No I was not born in 1949! the 6549 are just random numbers that I used originally for ebay but then it seemed to stick for everything!

Sadly no I have not been on celebrity raspberry! I would love to tho but only if I could get a complete set of mugs, 1 is no good!
