The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Hi everyone anyone who likes the Scott Mills Show or is on Twitter can join in with the campaign to get Scott to give UnofficialMills a shoutout.
We have emailed/text/tweeted but he hasn't said anything or given a shoutout it seems to be all about the facebook group.
So we have a twitter campaign to add #ScottMillsSpam to every tweet and copy @scott_mills into your tweet.
Any help be appreciated especially if you can retweet and get it trending. May also be a good idea to get Chrismoyles.net a shoutout, we will return the favour :-)

I can't stand Scott Mills or UnofficialMills, so I won't be joining in.

Chrismoyles.net has had more than a 'shoutout' - our founder and admin Chris has been on Moyles' show talking about the site.

I'm also gonna warn you that we are not generally Mills fans here so this isn't gonna generate a positive response.

I don't mind Snott, but I certainly aint joinign some pointless campaign to achieve something pointless. Why does unofficialmills need a mention on the air?! Its hardly a new concept, its a fan site, most celebs have a stalker with sufficient free time to knock one up (no offence Mr Harris!). Anyone who likes Snott enough to want to promote unofficialmills would know about it already.

Silly, pointless campaign. That said, all the best.....

If this was genuine, i'm pretty sure they would have sent Jono to ask (who still gets mentions on the show as 'Jono off Unofficial Mills').

I'm pretty sure that Radio 1 are looking to drive ALL traffic through their own websites (and affiliated social networking sites), so having people go to unofficial mills would not be something the online bosses would be happy about.

there's your reasoning as to why the campaign can't succeed. cease and desist.

Actually this was a genuine post but judging by the responses reminds me why I never bothered posting in the forum/site before.

We didn't say you weren't genuine, just that we didn't really support it.

Was it, actually?! What, Actually, acutally? Not pretend actually?

But, genuine or not doesn't not instantly qualify it as worth while. If you expected a different response I may suggest 'tis you who is confused. Never assume that going to an unrelated website will win you support. I like Nike trainers. I don't go on a Reebok forum to try to raise interest and support for my non related product.

Please feel free to not bother us like this any more, we'll live.

Are you a regular visitor to the Nike forum then...?

I like Scott's show, and have done for a while, but I keep it quiet for fear of being hit with a banhammer or something 8O

I quite like Scott's show on an afternoon, but HATE it when he covers for Chris.

Way too much music for my liking!!

What for? The shoutout I mean? UM gets LOADS of air time on the Mills show (or it used to, I haven't listened for a long time but I presume Jono has still got himself wedged firmly up Mills' arse so I can't see why it would have changed) so what is this actually for? (Real actually, not pretentious actually).

Slowly going off Scott Mills to be honest, I now avoid his live shows and instead listen to his podcasts, for one thing. Did this Chris guy on Scott Mills show become a regular without anyone telling us? Most of the humour and features on that show are mostly too contrived for my taste and don't have the spontineity feel that they try to give off but ultimately fail to do.

So for that, I'm out!

Yeah I don't ever really listen live anymore, just because of all that music! ;) I prefer the podcast instead.

Thank god yesterday we didn't have to listen to Scott. I only caught about 30mins of Dev. Woke up late.
