I think on the red button is asking a bit much, but it should be streamed on the website permanently.

This. Radio 1 have the internal facilities to broadcast via their website, but for the red button they would have to use one of those OB trucks five days a week. Unfortunately I doubt that the cost for that could be justified.

Pearmanent web streaming would be fantastic though!

I'm not sure I get the radio on the telly thing all the time. It made sense for the marathon show but its annoying listening about visual stuff too much.

I wouldnt want it to be on every day. As brilliant as it was I think it would lose its appeal if we had it every day.

I like it the the way R1 have done it so far. Occasional access all areas features and regular video clips on the website.

Radio is radio and TV is TV. Too much listening to the readio with references to what I am missing because I am not in front of a TV screen would be annoying. Keep it as it is I say.

Why would we want to join that? Radio is radio for a reason. It would just get boring and the novelty would wear off. I like it how it is now

Agreed. Its great to see the show being created from time to time, but it is radio.

Yeah, you can have too much of a good thing. Special occasions only = silly campaign.

It would be great every now and then, perhaps once a month at most. Radio wouldn't be radio if there were webcams everyday, and the team (or any person for that matter) wouldn't be so comfortable if they kept being videotaped on a daily basis.

No, I wouldn't want them on tv every day at all. I'm too busy in the mornings to stop and watch so I would permanently feel as if I was missing something, and also I think it would change the dynamic of the show.

This! Sorry, cj1967. :( And I thought I was the only one on here who'd say 'this'! :) You a LiveJournal user, c_radical?

If I was to join any campaign, it'd be to have a feed of the studio at all times so I didn't have to listen to the music.

Big Brother: Series 1 The entire country watched. It was something new to British tv and so attracted interest. But that interest dissapered by series 2 and dwindled to oblivion. Do I mean oblivion or Channel 5. Is there a difference?
The same thing would happen if The Chris Moyles Show whent to red button. There was an element of newness(?) to it when the marathon was on but as most people have pointed out, radio is radio and tv is tv. They can mix but not on a permanent basis.

The entire country did not watch the first series of Big Brother. I didn't, for a start.

I watched big brother 1. I still watched it at the end of the last series as well though. I'm actually looking forward to it moving to channel 5 now!

Nor me. Or anyone with any sense.

I watched the first series, I thought that it was ok as it was more of an experiment and was different.

It was when they would put someone in who was a neo-nazi, gay hating nutter.....you knew the next person was going to be a Julian Clary-a-like that I started hating it.....so roughly series 2

Same here. It amazes me now that I ever watched a reality tv show but at the time it was really something unusual.

Nor I.

I watched the introductions of the people being inducted into the house on I think the second series because my mate's girlfriend wanted to watch it and I felt like I need a shower afterwards.
