It's like he's died or something! Large black and white picture of his face. I'm expecting it to say 'Chris Moyles. 1987-2011' next to it.

Anyone else, or just me thinking this?

Also, what's with the speck of hair to the right of the image? Makes me think there's some hair on my monitor!

I just used it as sample text. It's not real, I just modified the ChrisMoyles.net homepage using Firebug in Firefox.

I don't mind the photo...

There is something else that annoys me about that photo though, a little mark/hair/whatever sit is... right at the bottom of the picture which makes me think i've got something on my screen.

Me too. But on the plus side, I've got a very clean bit of my screen now.

That happened to me when I was printing out a photo from my brother's wedding day to frame. I printed it twice cos I somehow had a mark on the pic, despite having laid it out straight off the printer and not having touched it since. When I saw the exact same mark on the second printout, I realised it was a piece of confetti stuck to my bro's jacket.

Considering how often Chris goes on about his age now, I dunno how anyone could miss it! I do sometimes wonder if he's really sensitive about his age or if it's all a joke to him. I'm about 10 months younger than him so I empathise with the depression that accompanies the slide into "late thirties"...

I think it's more about the constant pressure from Radio 1 management and the newspapers to ditch the older DJs in favour of those closer to the target age of their audience.

He doesn't want to leave the flagship radio show, but it'll have to happen one day, I guess.

Chris would definitely work on Radio 2 given what they play nowadays and what he likes to play during the Golden Hour, but there is going to be an issue of which timeslot he'd go in if he hypothetically left R1 tomorrow.

i don't think an overwhelming majority of radio 2's audience wouldn't take kindly to him - and he wouldn't want to compromise his style.

and he's still got the chris evans hurdle to overcome, as i couldn't see him moving to another timeslot.

however, if the opportunity to overtake evans' slot due to him having poor figures might be too attractive for his ego to turn down. i still maintain that R2 wouldn't have him.
