The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Think people are being a bit harsh on J @ AG. All DJs had to start out somewhere and they must be a bit nervous in this situation. I think they did really well and will be listening when they sit in for Annie Mac in a couple of weeks. I predict they will become more mainstream and regulars on R1 in a few years time.

I am not sure who you are refering to but I saw Lynn yesterday on one of the cameras after recognising her from one of the twit vids Chris posted last week.

I'm really proud of them both, been a huge huge fan of moyles and the team since day 1 at radio 1, they have raised millions upon millions over the years, and yet the still get shit from the papers! Well I for one can stand up and well done lads, once again you've smashed it. Winning

Doh, I must have missed her on one of the Twit Vids. I'm sure she'll be properly 'unveiled' eventually.

Who ever those people were in the background, they have now disappeared into the night...

I tell you what, for a man who's been awake for something like 42 hours now (half 4 on Wednesday I believe he woke up) Chris is still wonderfully sharp.

Louis Walsh on the phone says "Chris, I think you should be the new Simon." Without missing a beat Chris hits back with "I'm the new Louis!"

I don't think I could be that quick witted on my best day.

Chris and Dave are doing amazing.
They get a hard time in the press for simply being normal, instead of kissing up to everybody, and I think this is showing them in a completely new light.

I had to sign up here to show my support.

Keep it up guys, your doing amazing.

yes i was thinking that earlier. how suprisingly quick some of his comebacks are considering the lack of sleep is great.

and the amount of money raised is amzing. i thought if they got to half a million that would be good and today i thought they might hit the 1m by then 50 hours but theyve done it already! i wouldnt be suprised now if it gets to 1.5 or maybe more. 2 million would be brilliant. it is a fantastic thing they have done and probably one of the best comic relief fundraising things i can think of. the entertainment weve all got from it is fantastic its got to be worth at least a £1 text per hour i would think!

as i have no work till monday im gonna stay up now and watch this last night cos this i feel will be the best part.

I'd normally be trying to play trivial pursuit and chain smoking to stay awake at this stage. And talking as much as Dave.

I've enjoyed these two Grimshaw programmes, the music isn't too mad, the tone is very relaxed, like Moyles's show, and the guests have been good value. And now with Corden and some beers, the next hour should be good stuff. After that I think they'll take a break until Annie Nightingale and then soldier on until the end.

Chris referred to the guy in the corner as Jody earlier, so I think it's safe to presume that the couple sitting down are Chris' often mention friends, Abbey and Jody. I did not expect them to look like that, and Chris was right, Abbey is very attractive... (Me thinks I've been up too long, been up 37 hours so far... )

It's funny, I've never met Chris or Dave and probably never will. But I feel really proud about what they've done and are still doing. It's like my mates have done something brilliant. I can only think it's because I've spent the last 7 years listening to them talk to "me" in the mornings, and even before then in the afternoons. Their style on the radio just lends itself to that feeling that you're part of a group conversation. Maybe they are my mates, even if I'm not theirs.

Does that make sense?

On the other hand, I'm feeling guilty that this is the second night in a row I'm going to go to bed because I'm tired. It's worse today, since they were up longer than me at this point yesterday... and I've been to bed and slept and I'm tired AGAIN! I swear if I didn't have work in the morning that guilt would probably keep me up watching on the red button.

Absolutely. Seconded.

yes the mate thing is very true. the reason why i liked them and im sure millions of people will feel the same, is you do kind of feel like chris is youre mate, it feels like just a chat you would have with your pals. Thats the key to his and the shows sucess isnt it? that its not a show where the presenter presents and plays songs and talks to the audience and just does a few crappy features. It feels like they are interacting with YOU
