Aled - I have a genuine question about what would be the point of simulcasting on Radio 2 and Five Live? There may be something I've not thought of, but everyone who can get Radio 2 or Five Live in some way can also get Radio 2, so all it seems to achieve is stifling choice for Radio 2 and Five Live listeners? Or have I got that all wrong?

It's more the symbolism of it. The show of support. We're looking at an interview only - and it may very well be that it won't happen.

I can't give any secrets away - because it's more than my job's worth too. I can give a couple of teasers though.

2) we MAY be making an announcement of a new team member during the marathon show.

The timing of the announcement. It'd be great for us to get it out before we go on holiday. It's down to contracts and getting them complete in time.
