The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

As much as I love Chris and his way of words, I think he was a bit harsh with the hospital radio DJ on Celebrity raspberry. I think he needs to remember his roots sometimes. I know what he meant about just being honest and none of us should really care about his guys tiny show, but we arent all lucky enough to have broadcast nationally to 11 million avid ears.

Ive been on this forum for a bit now, so I know I'll get shot down but whatever. Love you guys, haha. :D

I actually thought he was quite nice to him! He didn't cut him off, which was a surprise...

No he wasn't harsh. Noone would have wanted to listen to the show anyway and i genuinely find it annoying when people try and do shoutouts or anything along those lines

I dont mean he was harsh because of the shoutout thing, but I dont know I guess I just empathized with him as a young DJ trying to get somewhere in this industry. I'd personally be quite disheartened having Chris Moyles say on national radio how no one cares about my silly little show and in no uncertain terms I should probably quit while I'm ahead.

He wasn't a youngster with big ambitions though, didn't he say he'd been doing Hospital Radio for 20 years or something? He has the internet show as well, but I got the impression he is a radio hobbyist, he didn't seem to me to have any ambition to do it full time. I thought he was a good caller, and Chris was fine with him.

I didn't hear the caller. I've started going to get ready when Celebrity Raspberry comes on. I don't like it that much. But it seems like Chris is always a bit harsh to callers, but in a friendly way. I think they know what they're getting into when they phone in.

The ironic thing is your plugging your own radio show in your sig.

It might not have been 20, but it was a long long time. Hospital Radio is clearly the destination rather than a signpost on this caller's road.
