The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

ok. We don't actually know how long chris and dave will go. He hasn't actually stated as fact he will get to 37 hours and stop. He's joked about it. But we don't actually know how long he'll go for.

How long do you think he'll go for. 37, 42, 48, 51 hours?

For a guide. This is the times and hours.
37 hours. = 19:30 thursday
38 hours. = 20:30 thursday
40 hours. = 22:30 thursday
42 hours. = 00:30 friday
44 hours. = 02:30 friday
46 hours. = 04:30 friday
48 hours. = 06:30 friday
51.5 hours. = 10:00 friday (after his normal show)

I will personally go for after his show on friday. It's a long long haul. But I would envisiage he may end his show after the golden hour. I would think that he will not be able too wake up until WAY after 6.30 on friday.

It's all predictions and second guessing. But this is what this board is all about.

I find at lease 6 threads is kinda key to getting the message across, makes it easier to follow what's going on.

But in response to the original question, if I was them I'd be heading for the 60hour mark to coincide with the Live tv show on the Friday night

i'd definitely publicly state that i'm trying to break the record by 1 minute, so that anything i did after that would be an unexpected bonus, and relieve any pressure on the pair to continue.

As much as i'd like them to make it to the end of the friday show, i really cant see them staying up for over 2 days.

I'd say 38 hours, then sleep at Radio 1 for the night in their make shift beds, and up for the show on friday

in which we can watch them lose their mind, hallucinate and break down. Good television.

I reckon 40, can see them pushing on a bit extra once the record is broken.

During a 24 hour gaming thing I did a while back, 3-5 was the worst time, but come the 24 hour mark, did feel quite awake.

Very intrigued to see how this goes, might actually be worth donating via the radio 1's text line.

Well it makes sense - if they're going to do 40 hours, they won't have very long to sort themselves out before they have to come back for their own Friday morning show - if they can, it would be brilliant of they could go on until the end of that.

Nah various xbox 360 games, thought I imagine 24 hours on footie manager would pass pretty quickly, can suck your life away
