I didn't watch it either, I only watched Dave's performances but didn't vote for him. Well done for getting as far as he did but he wasn't going to be in the final now unless the whole Chris Moyles audience voted for him or whatnot.

For an ITV flagship show spin off?
I'm not sure they'd be that keen. Dave is freelance so what he does in his own time the BBC can't really do anything about. But laying on facilities & spending money in doing so, for him is something i don't think they'd be willing to do.

Yeah I suppose but I'm sure they'd still do it if it meant that he wouldn't be able to do the show one day.

Sorry to drag up an old thread but I wanted to mention that I met Dave today at one of his PR signings for the DOI tour in Birmingham. It was good to meet him and shake his hand and say what a big fan of the show I am.

He was signing some DOI leaflets so I took along The Gospel According To Chris Moyles and asked him to sign that instead, which he did. He seemed like a really nice bloke and greeted every person enthusiastically.

Top man.

He might do, but I think they only mentioned my name on the air once though. He knows now anyway because he replied to a tweet I sent him under this name.
