RyanBridgwood wrote:Aled has got back to me in the "Ask Aled" thread - I asked him if Carrie would be returning to the show or is it save to say Tina is staying on?

His response is below:

"Carrie is not coming back to the show. She has decided to come back to work part-time and will therefore be presenting the sport buletins on the BBC News channel a few days a week."

I am glad as her screeching was quite annoying.

No 'txt speak' - please use proper English (this includes the prohibition of the phrases 'lol', 'end of' and 'Fact.')

please..."lol" won't take too long to be added to the dictionary anyways. it's a word of the (e-)world! :P

Its not a word. Its an abbreviation and it better not get added to the dictionary. I hate the abbreviation.

If it is used enough as a word in itself then it will become part of the dictionary.

If you happen to overhear any teenage chats, it's likely that you end up hearing them say "lol" instead of actually giggling...that's how famous it's become, and I've actually warmed up to "lol"..but still weirdly, I'd love to see a country making txtspk illegal...it is that annoying, and this coming from a bloke in a portuguese island (portuguese ortographic agreement basically killed half of our language).

I know people who appear to use 'lol' completely out of context though. It is meant to mean laugh out loud but some people just write it at the end of almost every sentence and it really pisses me off. I don't like 'rofl' or 'pmsl' either.

Oh, great.
Just like last series of Doctor Who, you've brought back a creatre that was originally unkillable that we killed, and couldn't come back but somehow they did.
