He still smells. You can't smell him because you're around him all the time.

I don't think cats smell in the same way that dogs do. The might have bad breath, or fart or whatever, but they don't have a distinctive "cat" smell in the same way that dogs have a distinctive "dog" smell. If you have an indoors cat that has a litter tray your house will smell though. Which is a good reason to let your cat out.

I don't have a response for that, so instead I will provide a comical picture of a pussy:

I still stand by what I say.

My dogs and my house do not smell. The people I ask are shocked when I ask the to be honest.

Maybe I look after my dogs better than the people you lot know that say their dog and cats smell !!

I feel the need to stick up for ilovematt here...

My mother has had a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for the last 10 years, and I never notice any smell when I go over to visit her (mother not the dog).

I believe if you both keep the house and pet animal clean, whether it's a dog, cat, rabbit, etc, then there isn't usually any "smell".

None of my cats ever smelt to be honest, usually if a cat has a pong then they're not too well, I've been told, don't know how true that is though.

No, dogs smell and that is a fact. You people are all saying that you can't smell a dog when you are more than likely round them a lot. I used to have dogs and I couldn't smell dog houses, but now I can. I do not believe anyone who says their house doesn't smell, UNLESS the dog lives outside.

Dogs smell and cats smell, especially if litter tray is inside, and babies smell and stink out my bins.

And kittens are nightmares, theres a woman who has a son and they have a kitten (no names mentioned) and sometimes they stink of cat I'm pretty sure it is pissing on their piles of clean washing.

They aren't looking after their kitten or themselves properly then. One of the reasons I like cats more than dogs (as an owner - I love dogs per se) is that compared to puppies, kittens are so easy to deal with.
