Forgive me for using text-speak, but WTF?
Does anyone have any idea why the hell Dom called Sian Massey a 'line judge' this morning? In two different segments of news too! She's a qualified ref, so you could call her that, and in the game everyone seems to be talking about she was an assistant ref, so that, or even lines(wo)man/person would be fine, but to switch sports into tennis?!
I appreciate he supports Liverpool and therefore won't know that much about football, but the people who move up and down the white lines aren't called line judges unless they're watching people bashing about a little green ball (or they're in American Football).
Why I wrote this down I have no idea. I also hate it when Newsbeat use the word 'apparently' with no facts, sources or references attached. But that can wait for another year. Thank God it's Friday tomorrow.
